Another Satisfying Story

This series has me consumed by the characters, especially the enigmatic and troubled David Wolf. Between the wonderfully diverse and engrossing cast and the intense storylines, I'm always excited to start a new audiobook in this series.

This, the 14th(!) book featuring David Wolf, is a quintessential read. Wolf is struggling with the political side of his position as Interim Sheriff, he's got a crazy mystery with more questions than answers, he's working too many hours, and "Hey... who's this deputy? Have I met her before?" All the classics rolled into one great thriller.

If you're new to this series, go ahead and jump in anywhere. Each novel can be read as a standalone. Then, when you discover how awesome this series is, go back and get the history of this striking lawman and his troubled past.

Another great installment...

I'm starting to get a little panicked...Book 14 finished and only 2 more to go....what will I do??

Honesty in Work, Family, Friends, and Love

I love the honesty, vulnerability and willingness to own up to his shortcomings and mistakes by the Wolf character. I hope to read of his happiness in future readings.

I really enjoyed this book and the possibilities of the next one for Wolf.
Reading during these unprecedented times has been helpful. And I am picky about what I read. The David Wolf series is one of my favorite I
have already read the book and enjoyed having the audio version too.
It seems when you read hard copy you tend to miss small parts.
I play the audio when I am doing things and pick up what I may have missed or the nuances by voice inflection.

Another great David Wolf book..

This would be one of my favorite of all 14 books I've read about David Wolf. This had to do with 3 murders and what led to them. AND a little romance in Wolf's life, with Deputy Piper Cain, too.

The F-bomb was used 8 times.

As for the narration: Sean Patrick Hopkins did a fabulous job on everyone's voice, especially Wolf's.

yes, all fourteen, great stories and characters. In the Ground was through audible, reader was outstanding. Thanks Jeff, really enjoyed your work.

I really enjoyed all the books in this Ceres The characters were entertaining and I can't wait for another book featuring David Wolf comes out

The Best One Yet!

Both the author and the narrator gave an outstanding performance in this latest addition of the Wolfe series by Jeff Carson. I well be waiting Impatiently for the next book! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
