Great story line and very creative writing. Keeps you interested and entertained. I have enjoyed the entire David Wolf series.

Riveting!

Jeff never disappoints with his David Wolf series. Just as good as the rest of the books. Great story with the same interesting characters from the past. Looking forward to Yates coming back and joining the team in their next adventure. Narration, excellent as always.

Love this series

At book 18 it’s like we know the characters personally. We cry with them, hurt with them, give them a hard time. In this story we were drawn even further into David’s unsureness about his personal life. His internal way of also handling his professional life keeps us intrigued. Hope there will be a 19.

Exciting story

Loved the audible version. Enjoyed listening to this story. Always fun to get continued glimpses into the lives of the characters. Good little mystery

I always get so excited when another David Wolfe book pops into my feed, this had been a great read/listen.

Another good story by Jeff Carson

Like the David Wolf series novels. The description of the towns and the people are always so interesting. This didn’t have the suspense as some of the previous books but it was still good.

Consistently entertaining

I like how the author weaves in a new story but also weaves in the continuation of their lives together in the sheriff department.

Great Addition

Thanks Jeff for a great new addition to a wonderful series. I stopped listening to the series I was currently listening to to listen to this because I always enjoy Wolf's stories. If you haven't checked out Jeff Carson's other series, Ali Falco, you definitely should, it is certainly worth it.

just enough action and procedural descriptions to make the book very interesting.

I'm not sure I'll ever get tired of this series!

Every installment of this series is like visiting an old friend. Without spoiling anything, I'm so happy things seem to be working out for David...things have certainly been rough going.

Sean Patrick Hopkins is always a favorite in my ears, I'm amazed at how he transitions so seamlessly from one character voice to the next. Truly a pleasure to listen to!
