"Pack your mosquito spray, Cassidy. We're going after Bigfoot."

Midas, Cassidy, and the Gulf Coast Paranormal team take on a new client, one with a disturbing problem. Reports of tree knocks, scratch marks, screams in the woods, and even a missing hunter have made Crenshaw Road a frightening place to live. Midas isn't quite sure what he's up against, but he agrees to help Aaron's grandmother, Nina, get to the bottom of it all. The investigation takes a surprising turn when an unknown entity appears and the team is put to the test, in more ways than one. Will the answers lead them to the Creature on Crenshaw Road?

Note: This audiobook includes a bonus novella, A Ghostly Ride in Gulfport.

I cannot really give this a total review, as I could not listen to it. The story seemed like it was going to be good but the narrators and their HORRIBLE attempts at accents stopped me from listening. Just bad. How did no one catch this while recording.

Narrators are horrible

I liked the 2nd story better, but both were seriously lacking in scariness. Seemed like YA fiction. The female narrator sounds like she’s 12 and was very nasally, but did a decent job with voices. Especially liked the male narrator. Both stories seemed incomplete with holes in the storylines.
If you’re looking for a story to listen to while you do other things, this is a good mindless listen. If you’re looking for true horror, this is not it.

More like YA stories

Another unfortunate example of a reasonable story, ruined by actors who overindulge in accents and language that they can’t handle. The female voice actor struggles to command a New Orleans style accent, only managing to express it 50% of the time. Between that and her nasally delivery, she ends up sounding more like an artificial, computer generated voice.

This is happened once too many times and this particular purchase has pushed me over the edge. I have canceled my audible membership.

Please...do better.
