Publisher's Summary

Something evil lurks in the waters of Sainte Isabel Island...

For as long as she can remember, Sara Hansen dreamed of living in paradise. Sinking her family’s savings into the Pirate Cove resort, Sara and her husband relocate to the beautiful island of Sainte Isabel. But shadows cloud the island’s pristine shores. And Sara quickly finds herself plunged into a legacy of evil and bloodshed.

A legend of a sinister death ship with a brutal captain - and an unholy fleet of ghostly pirate vessels - plague the tropical island. At first, Sara thinks it’s all just a silly local myth. But one by one, guests begin to go missing, and soon, Sara’s husband joins the ranks of the death ship’s victims.

Worse, Sara suffers terrifying visions of the past. She hears the wailing cries of the undead, calling to her from the windswept seas. Something is trying to possess her. Something ancient. Something evil. And if it succeeds, it will unleash a force of darkness unlike anything the island has ever seen.

A storm is brewing over the churning ocean waves. Death follows in its wake.

And only Sara can stop it....

Love this series!

All three of these books kept me on the edge of my seat. I didn’t expect to like them, but wanted to give them the chance. Thank God I did, because I thoroughly enjoyed them. They’re creepy, definitely make you think about relationships, and makes me wonder about places that I might visit in the future. I have no regrets about giving them a chance!

No escape

I was disappointed when the third book started and it was infiltrated with COVID-19. I listen to Audible stories to escape reality for awhile.

Please get over imposed self hatred

Good story and very good narration. Hollywood has a habit of cramming liberal hatred down our throats. Now I see the authors are joining the band. Surely, authors can create villains more complex than "the evil rich white guy."

too long, too many distractions

the book attempted to address so many things that did not enhance the story (racism, sexism, pandemic?) that my interestseismic, actual story was lost.

forget about the voice used to portray women was annoying, the story moved from something interesting and curious (pirates in the carribean and voodoo) to just background sounds in my house (while working around the house). to be honest, I have not yet finished the book, and adter almost into a month, I do not know where it is going.

I am stunned at the high rating given to this story, stunned!

I wish I could ask them what they read and saw that I did not.
