Perron Manor—a place evil calls home

Sisters Sarah and Chloe inherit a house they could never have previously dreamed of owning. It seems too good to be true.

Shortly after they move in, however, the siblings start to notice strange things: horrible smells, sudden drops in temperature, as well as unexplainable sounds and feelings of being watched.

All of that is compounded when they find a study upstairs, filled with occult items and a strange book written in Latin.

Their experiences grow more frequent and more terrifying, building towards a heart-stopping climax where the sisters come face to face with the evil behind Perron Manor. Will they survive and save their very souls?

Buy now and dive into the next great haunted house novel.

Haunted: Perron Manor is Book 1 in the Haunted series, which continues with Haunted: Devil's Door.

Overacted

Compelling story with some frustrating moments. The narrator made a lot of conversations sound unnatural, putting emphasis in odd places. Overall an enjoyable read/ listen

The narration made this an easy and exciting listen.

I love that I was kept in the edge of my seat wanting to hear more. I felt like I was a part of this story. Once I started I almost couldn’t stop. I listened to all but 2 hours in one sitting. Definitely wanting to explore more from Lee Mountford!!

Way better than expected

Just want to continue with the series! Nicely executed and well written! Didn’t expect to love it as much as I did

Plodding, Predictable and Unimaginative

I got through it, but barely. The first 3/4ths of the book is primarily unnecessary detail that goes nowhere, followed by a dump or gratuitous gore and childish descriptions. The narrator has potential, but was wrong for this book; a male reading almost completely female voices is broken falsetto did nothing to elevate the story. I finished because I really wanted to like the story, but it just fell flat for me.

The book was good ,but the narrator was awful, couldn’t do voices well , too bad won’t listen to anymore with him as narrator.

Definitely a must

I enjoy every second of this book. It was the first I bought in the series and just bought book 2 and the one about the history of the house.

FREAKING EPIC!!!

The only CON: They have a man narrating women’s voices. The two main characters, sisters, are narrated by a man.
It’s not sooooo bad though, because the book is AMAZING and CREEPY! I used to watch Freddy movies, alone, when I was 4. I’m not easily scared … Listening to this book, alone, in the dark, I was scared! lol. The book is PHENOMENAL!!!!! I wish they would have had a woman doing the narration but I can get over that. It’s a MUST listen. I just went and purchased the other EIGHT books in the series because I know this man’s brain is diabolical.

Great listen

Not my normal genre but I’m going to go onto book 2. Great story. Good performance (voice of Chloe was a little silly). Enjoyable.
