Editorial reviews
The Bon Jovi Story is an interview by true rock fans, to be enjoyed by true rock fans. At times the recording of the band’s responses is not of the highest quality, particularly because of background music, but if a listener is willing to delve deeply into the interview, he or she will emerge with some genuine treasures. Bruens, Jacks, and Tetle conduct their conversation with Jon Bon Jovi and bandmates with a warmth and avidity that elicits corresponding responses. The narrators clearly fill in biographical information and editorialize admiringly between firsthand accounts from the musicians, thus this "audiography" leaves a listener with a multi-dimensional portrait of an iconic New Jersey band.
Publisher's summary
The Bon Jovi story is one of sheer determination and talent. Hard-rock band Bon Jovi was formed in New Jersey, USA, and fronted by Jon Bon Jovi. His four co members were Richie Sambora, David Bryan (Rashbaum), Ticco Tores, and Alec John Such. Jon Bon Jovi spent the years 1983 to 1988 establishing the band as one of the most popular hard-rock bands around. Success came in the form of platinum albums such as Slippery When Wet and New Jersey. Jon even managed to score success with a solo album, Blaze of Glory, and found time to become a movie star, debuting in Moonlight of Valentia in 1995 and the follow up movie The Leading Man.
This is not a music release by the artist or record company, and quality may vary. In this exclusive and unique audiobiog, Bon Jovi share the secret of their success, reveal life on the road, and talk about the image change that has kept them at the top. A must for fans, collectors, and music buffs.

Story
The very strange but nevertheless true story of the dark underbelly of a 1960s hippie utopia. Laurel Canyon in the 1960s and early 1970s was a magical place where a dizzying array of musical artists congregated to create much of the music that provided the soundtrack to those turbulent times. But there was a dark side to that scene as well. Many didn't make it out alive, and many of those deaths remain shrouded in mystery to this day.

Story
At last, the definitive audiobook about perhaps the best cabin crew dramedy ever filmed: View from the Top starring Gwyneth Paltrow. In Ayoade on Top, Richard Ayoade, perhaps one of the most 'insubstantial' people of our age, takes us on a journey from Peckham to Paris by way of Nevada and other places we don't care about. It's a journey deep within, in a way that's respectful and non-invasive; a journey for which we will all pay a heavy price, even if you've waited for the smaller paperback edition. Ayoade argues for the canonisation of this brutal masterpiece.

Story
No one other than Warren Zanes, rocker and writer and friend, could author a book about Tom Petty that is as honest and evocative of Petty's music and the remarkable rock and roll history he and his band helped to write. Born in Gainesville, Florida, with more than a little hillbilly in his blood, Tom Petty was a Southern shit kicker, a kid without a whole lot of promise. Rock and roll made it otherwise.

Do not waste a credit on this
I was on a long trip driving from Alabama back to New Jersey. A favorite Bon Jovi song came on and I thought what a great audiobook to listen to on this long drive. I couldn’t find an actual biography on audiobook so I found this. I spent a credit on it and that was one credit too many. I felt like I was in the engine room of a large ship eavesdropping on the conversation. There was more filler music by the way that wasn’t Bon Jovi than actual contacts. It was awful.

Stick To Music John
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
I have listened to 2 books every week for 3 years and always look forward to the next Story. This download was very difficult to hear conversations thru most of the book and honestly if you are interested in having your interest in all of John Bovi destroyed this is it. The waste of money/Time and projected enjoyment is,really terrible.I have never even written a review on a single story but I was compelled to write this.If any of the creators took the time to listen to this work It would have been totally recreated.Everyone and I mean everyone and especially John Bon Jovi should be ashamed and when its said John is such a (perfectionist) well, not here.I will never again buy anything created buy anyone attatched to this really bad presentation.
My former interest in such a great musician is gone forever.
I really feel like someone thru a bunch of his work sloppily and burnt me for 25 dollars.
What was most disappointing about the authors’s story?
Everything
Would you be willing to try another one of Rockview’s performances?
No
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
NO
Any additional comments?
Don't get other customers upset like me.Listen, decide for yourself and if you agree Please Don't Sell it
