I love it so much!

As stated previously I wish there were hundreds of these recorded. I'm seeking out the pulp novels, but I love hearing them read.
A lot of fun packed into a quick listen.

Great book series but the same thing I’ve been having problems with all the others

I like this hero a more classic version of Batman leaning more to the detective side then the man with 1000 gadgets. The reader and how it’s written get a little irritating. Every time he says (the shadow) He sounds like he’s having an orgasm the book says A lot like at least three times every paragraph and more. So you keep hearing him say (the shadow)In this overdramatic tone too many times but overall it’s a good book series and I would like more of them

Love The Shadow

I remember listening to the episodes as a kid. Eventually bought as many as survived. Read all the books I could find. Now I can get the books in audio format.

Great Suspense and Mystery

This is another excellent story for the Shadow series. The writing paints a clear picture and pulls you along with the temptation of who the master kidnapper, the Black Falcon, is and what the true identity of the Dark Avenger is.

Although not fully explained until The Shadow Unmasks, this story toys with your expectations to make a grand reveal and an entertaining mystery.

Once again Richard Ferrone does an excellent job with the material. I’d easily recommend this story to pulp fans everywhere.

The Strange Creature of the Night

A classic 1934 adventure of The Shadow, facing off against one of the early great supercrooks, The Black Falcon. A splendid and exciting pulp detective story, extremely well performed. Well worth its reasonable price!

Great writing, great voice work, weak plot.

As compellingly worded as ever, excellently narrated, but unusually obvious plot and villain. Monologues included.
