Delightful Story

This is the story of a romance between two lawyers who met in law school and due to a major misunderstanding on Nevaeh's part, she cut Edward off with no explanations. Several years later, they meet as lawyers for a divorcing couple. They re-connect and then they don't. Things get even more interesting after that. It was a great quick listen while working around my home office. The narrator did an excellent job and the story flowed smoothly although getting to HEA was a little tough.

Nice story

The story was great but the narrator wasn't. She started the book off great, with her catching my attention but along the way she just started sounding so monotone and lacked luster & bored.

Don't be alarmed at the title!
This was actually a really interesting short book.

Nevaeh is a lawyer getting her big break, a solo case.
Edward is opposing counsel, having known him since there college days, Nevaeh is timid to get to know him again because of there history.

But they are like magnets bound to be in each other lives. Oh, his momma... I didn't like her one bit no I didn't but well I won't give anything away.

I did want to scream Communication a few times with this story. And who doesn't love a second chance at love?

The was a wonderful story of 2 old friends reconnecting. It's also a story of great love, loss and family. Sometimes family must learn to love and accept those that we love. Love the narration.

I enjoyed this book it was refreshing for the seemingly real story and not just a story of sexual encounter, I would recommend this book to friends for a short read

No it was too short and predictable.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

The most interesting was how quickly we jump to the wrong conclusions. The least interesting was his mother. So typical of other stories.

When they meet again as opposing attorney's.

Love is all I need !

This was a really cute story. How they both were lawyer and then ended up together. Though I felt some shadiness about Edwards past and unexplained parts of his past , but in the end it worked itself out.
I had a hard time envisioning Nivea ( African and Korean ) not much time was spent on her description so I could digest it, though it did to the plot regarding her mothers/grandparents past

I've never been a part of then mile high club, but they had a great reason to celebrate !!

Love this!

Such a sweet love story that tugs at your heartstrings. You fall in love with the characters and feel their pain as if it were your own. The narrator did such a good job bringing life to them.

Nice story and ending. Would love to listen to more audiobooks from this author. I like the interracial aspect of the couple. Nice quick listen with laughable parts as well as emotional parts. Narration was ok.
