Publisher's Summary

With his professional football career over due to a tragic accident, billionaire Kade Harrison takes on the task of solving a mystery for his brother-in-law and friend, Max Hamilton. But what starts out as a simple favor soon becomes a whole lot more than he bargained for when the woman he's seeking slips away from him every time he gets close to finding her. Asha Paritala is nothing like he expected, and the female he had tracked down as a favor for Max soon becomes a woman he wants for his very own, a woman who makes protective and highly predatory instincts he didn't know he had flare to life inside him. Can Kade convince her that some things are worth risking it all?

Caught between two worlds, Asha Paritala is homeless, broke and damaged from a life of abuse and neglect. Born of an American mother and an Indian immigrant father, Asha was raised as an Indian woman by a foster family after the death of her natural parents when she was little more than a baby. She's spent her entire life under the control of others until finally breaking free two years earlier, and she's determined to keep her freedom, even if it means she has to struggle to survive. But when she meets Kade Harrison, her resolve is tested. After Kade helps her through a bad situation, she finds herself beginning to trust Kade as she's never trusted a man before. Asha is tempted by the possibility of family, and the irresistible lure of a man like Kade Harrison. Can a woman caught between two cultures, so flawed and so backward, really reach out and take what she wants, or will the instinct to run from the pain of her past destroy the hope of happiness for her future?

Find out if two broken souls can heal each other in The Billionaire's Game, Book 4 of The Billionaire's Obsession series! This is a complete novel with no cliffhangers. Eighteen-plus due to sexual situations and graphic language.

Billionare series

I like the stories in the Billionare series however , all the sex in all the books are almost verbatim . This is very disappointing, not to mention they all say the F#! $ word in the story so much, it gets very old. I like the characters, but as far as originality on the the sexual side of it, im sad to say its redundant and not original .

A winner!!

Each time I think I have decided on a favourite billionaire in this awesome series, JS Scott creates another that rivals it!!! OMG!!! Kade Harrison is the PERFECT alpha male with stormy blue eyes, a sexy wall of muscled perfection and pure testosterone just emanating from him! As with all of Ms. Scott's heroes, Kade was protective and possessive especially over Asha! I loved Asha as a heroine - her constant mantras (survive, succeed, you are worthy) brought such an important message in her journey of overcoming what she had perceived was her culture's norm. This was hands down one of my favourite books in this series! 5 "I love Kade's colourful shirts" stars!!!

Kade was Amazing 🥰🥰

These stories keep getting better and better!! This one is about Kade the fallen football star that’s life changed by an accident that left his leg mangled and took away all he had that was football it was his life what he lived for the only thing he’s good at or so he thinks in his mind but of course that’s not the truth. He is caring, compassionate, loving and does anything he can for his family and friends. He’s now on a mission to find a woman beloved to be his brother in law’s sister and she’s slippery and obviously doesn’t want to be found. However he won’t give up and the two months he’s been searching has given him a challenge and it feels good to focus on something other than the career that has ended and the shallow girlfriend who dumped him while he was in the ICU.
***
Overall the story was well done it flowed and keeps the reader engaged and turning the page because you can’t wait to see if and when things will work out for the hero. Looking forward to the next in the series loving these books.

The narrator was good at providing the story and bringing it to life.

Love

This is the amazing story of Kade and his journey of finding a possible relative for a close friend. Asha is running and hiding from a very ugly past. When these two meet Kade is instantly in love with Asha. Can these two make it work or will Asha's past catch up to her first. A beautiful love story.

Love that makes the other whole…

Sometimes a story will feel different than others in a series…and for me this one fits that bill. Yes, we have Kade a well-known football hero, who gets in an accident severely injuring his leg, and considers himself less of a man now that he can no longer play football..and... Asha a young woman part American and part Indian who has lived a brutal life of abuse --from being her foster family’s servant who sold her to become a wife that was beaten because she was unable to become pregnant. They meet up because Max, Kade’s brother-in- law, asks him to help find Max’s long lost sister…and with nothing else for him to do, takes on the challenge to help find her and chases across the country in search of Asha. Once he finds her..sick…and broke…the connection between the two of them, well maybe Kade more than her, is instantaneous and he not only cares for her, but also tries to make her understand and accept that she might actually be part of a family with a half-brother and sister. There are so many sensitive issues as they both come into the relationship with things they have to work out..but what makes this story different from the others in the series is that they also have cultural differences between them. Asha only knows the Indian culture, even though she is half American through her mother, and Kade has to show her the freedom and independence of being an America…and that happens with help from the other women we have come to know in the earlier books in this series. It is a serious book that contains cruelty and physical abuse…and this makes is a good book club book discussion…it is not just the simple boy meets girl love story and everyone lives happily ever after..even though in the end that is what they do. Absolutely worthy of 5 stars…and a great connection to those stories that have come before in the series and prepares for the ones that come after, including Kade’s twin brother Travis.

Not good

The Billionaire’s Game by J.S. Scott is likely my least favorite book in this author’s vast collection.

Elizabeth Powers is a delicious narrator. She is the only reason this is overall rated at 3 stars.

The story is atrocious. There is absolutely no believability in this story.

If it weren’t for the fact that I think the other books in this series are/will be better, I would not have finished this book.

Kade and Asha!

Kade is still dealing with the aftereffect of not only losing his career as a professional football player but the fact that his fiancé is not the woman he thought she was. When his sister’s husband asks him to investigate Asha to determine if she is the sister they never knew they had he was the one who was in for a surprise as now that h e has met her he knows that the only place that she belongs is with him.

Asha has a painful past that she wants to remain where it belongs. She is drawn to Kade, but she is conflicted between her desire to be with him and her desire to prove that she can be independent and worthy of his love. She stopped believing in fairy tales a long time ago and she believes that Kade and her new family is too good to be true.

This is an emotional story about two people who still bear the emotional scars of their past. Their journey is filled with angst, twists and suspense that only made the ending that much better. I received a complimentary copy of this audiobook and thought the narrator did a great job with the portrayal of all of the characters.

Past deMons

This story holds so many truths, while we my not have pasts like Kade and Asher we all hold demons that change our thought process and manipulate the way we feel. This story explores them beautifully while still managing to be sexy and page turning at the same time.

The narrator added so much depth to the characters that brought the story off the page and into the real world as you listened... I can't wait to listen to more.

The Billionaire's Game

Oh my hottness! Kade is all that and more! He is doing a favor for Max, his brother-in-law, looking for Asha, who Max believes is another sister. He chases her across the country until finally he tracks her down and takes her belongings until she contacts him. Asha does not trust easily, she has not had an easy life and it takes her quite a while to come to grips with the fact she may have family. Kade finally convinces her to return with him to Florida. Great story how it unfolds. We get to know a little about her Indian heritage and watching her and Kade and the rest of the family learn to give her what she needs to grow. Definitely want to read the previous books for continuity but this could be read as a standalone.

Brilliant!

I thoroughly enjoyed Kade and Ashas story.
It was really nice to read about different cultures and how Asha adapted to two different worlds.
I loved the fact Asha empowered herself and stood up to those that had down trodden her and that Kade helped and supported her natural growth.

A lovely story that had me gripped all through.
