Griffen

What happens when the only person you ever trusted betrays you? Hope Daniels was my friend. My confidant. Right up until the day she stabbed me in the back and cost me everything. My family. My fortune. My legacy.

Now my father’s been murdered and his will might be the death of me. It wasn’t enough to banish me 15 years ago. Even dead, he cant resist twisting the knife. He’ll give me back everything I lost, everything he stole...if I marry Hope. To make matters worse, the fate of the town rests in my hands.

My siblings hate me, the family estate is falling apart, and my father’s murderer is still out there.

My only ally is Hope, the one person I know I can’t trust.

Except this Hope is different from the girl I knew. For one thing, she’s not a girl any more. She’s a woman. I want to hate her. I absolutely don’t want to want her. But I do.

Stolen Heart is a standalone romance with a happy ending. It’s first in The Hearts of Sawyers Bend series, featuring the Sawyer family of Sawyers Bend.

I’ve been waiting forever for Stolen Heart to be released on audio and I wasn’t disappointed. What a great start to the Sawyer family series I can’t wait to continue on this journey. I loved the cross overs with the Winters and Sinclair’s. Lots of great feels in this listen delivered superbly by Lucy and Joe. Thanks Ivy Layne keep them coming ❤️❤️

Another great book from IL

I am never disappointed in Ivy Layne’s story. She’s an amazing writer. The characters are multi dimensional, the story is realistic and the romance is hot. What more could you ask for?

Critique of Stolen Heart

I like this series but there are inconsistencies and a number of the books written by Ivy Layne. It’s almost like the editor is not paying attention to detail. For example in this book it says Cooper has dark eyes in one section and then later in another section it says he has the ice blue eyes. In the books prior Cooper definitely has the ice blue eyes. Also how could the district attorney claim the Ford was going to get all the billions if he killed his father since the will had already been changed? Several of the books have inconsistencies. In the book compromising the billionaires she writes that Jacob Winters is Charlie winter’s cousin. And all the other books he’s her brother. Those kind of things make me crazy. Overall I do like the books very much though. Just seems some better everything would’ve been helpful along the way.

Story and Joe Arden are a YES

The female narrator sounds like a computer voice and her male voice is awful :/ Sorry. The story itself is good and Joe Arden is always a YES no matter what he reads.

Great start to new series

The is a stand alone book 1 in a Hearts of Sawyers Bend series by Ivy Layne. This was my first book by Ivy Layne. I wanted to listen to this book because Joe Arden narrates, and he is always a one click narrator for me. Lucy Rivers narrates with him. I enjoyed both narrators performances and was quickly intrigued with the story. The story starts with Griffen finding out his father was murdered and he was to inherit it all. Griffen had left the family because his father wasn't a good father, and Griffen had many siblings. I'm thinking we get more of the siblings stories in books to come. Hope has always been connected with Griffen's family, and works for her Uncle who has always kept her sheltered. Both are thrown into a situation they never see coming, and the story picks up from there. Overall, I enjoyed this story, but there were a lot of characters to keep up with. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series, that will hopefully tie up some loose ends.
