Publisher's summary

Take your speaking, listening, and comprehension to the next level. You will master more than 300 of the most useful phrases that are beyond the basics you learn in basic Spanish classes. Often, what we learn in class isn’t very useful in practicable speech, so we’ve compiled a list of 200 of the most widely used common expressions and phrases that will supercharge your Spanish speaking ability as well as your vocabulary and comprehension.

This audiobook will provide you with a generous supply of simple, incredibly useful Spanish phrases (most of which you probably haven’t mastered yet), to help take your conversation skills to the next level. This audiobook also contains numerous idioms and colloquialisms that you will find both insightful and useful. Hispanic culture is incredibly colorful, and each region has numerous local sayings and idioms, so we’ll only focus on really common ones that seem to be pretty universal across all Spanish-speaking countries.

You will learn:

  • The English and Spanish version of the idiom/phrase
  • The explanation of how to use this idiom or phrase in common speech and when is an appropriate time to use it
  • Examples of casual dialogue in both Spanish and English to show you the context of how this phrase is used
  • You can practice repeating each phrase to help commit it to memory and work through the pronunciation

Good examples of Conversation

This is a pretty quick read with some good examples of common sentence and conversation constructs. While it is an interesting story that kept me engaged I had to constantly overlook how far fetched the story was. Take it for what it is an entertaining way to improve your Spanish.
