Publisher's Summary

Drew Marshall may have let me move into his spare bedroom while my house is being renovated, but don’t think for one second his kindness comes without strings - big, ugly fake-relationship strings.

That’s okay, though, Dr. Andrew. I’ll agree to your terms, move into your house, and act like your girlfriend when the big day comes, but I also plan to make your life miserable - make you pay for what you did to me.

I may not be good at forgiving or forgetting, but I’m excellent at getting even.

Get ready to laugh until you cry with this sizzling, hilarious, closed-door romantic comedy!

Just so so!!

I really don't like Jessie! she seems to be very immature. She acts really silly. She keeps sabotaging her relationship with the very sweet doctor. I can't stand her!!!

Funny but over the top and got irritating

I thought the story had some interesting deviations from a common trope. Jessica and Drew’s juvenile persistently bad attitude toward each other got a bit tedious. Jessica had major hang ups with trust and lack of forgiveness that made their war go on and on. I have a hard time believing Drew’s character as a practicing OB-Gyn physician getting in juvenile arguments and hurtful prank war with a grown pregnant woman, much less them ending up together. The story had some humor that may have marginally saved it. The performance actors were Ok.

Story is typical, male narration is horrible

The story is a typical enemies to lovers romcom. It's fun to listen to some of the antics but really difficult to relate to Jesse's reasons for hating Drew; it seems like an extreme response. What bothers me about the audio book, however, is Jason Keller's performance. He does not seem to understand Drew's demeanor and character with some over the top acting. The female narrator does a nice job.

unrealistic and boring

This was my first book by Sarah Adams and I would hesitate to download anymore. The story just kept dragging out and I never believed the love story. I think I finished it in my sleep and don't care to go back to even find out what happened. Don't waste a credit

MC voice unbearably breathy

I really like this story. It’s cringey and endearing. I find myself rooting for them to come together. However the narrators choice of thinking and speaking voice for female MC makes me want to lightly but incessantly push on her bladder so she pees herself. Very whiny and excruciatingly breathy. I will finish it because I like their story but I would not be surprised when my inner ear begins hemorrhaging.

A medium book

liked Rachel's voice, Jason was kind of bad. I imagined Drew differntly in the former book, and Jason's voice and acting just didn't fit.
The story dragged out too much, and sometimes felt a bit childish..I get Jessy's point of view for why she's acting like this, but it was a bit over the top.

If you liked the first one this one is great

So this book had a wonderful story and it had good character development, the one thing I don’t like is the voice acted for Drew was a good voice but it didn’t fit Drew there was a point where I got used to him basically yelling the chapter but otherwise it was so good if you like the enemies to lovers trope!

I truly thought Ms Adams was on to a new genre of comedy / romance. this one is complete torture. I'd highly recommend the other ones, I'm thinking it was the same meet the deadline right what comes over to your mind blunder.

Wow!!!

I love Sarah Adams!! I haven't read a book that makes me laugh and cry over a book!! I love this book and all the others. I looked forward to each one of them. Except this one this one was rough! she definitely knows how to done every road. I have looked for an author like her so much!!! it's about real writing and not just explicit sex. thank you for using your imagination!!!

I really, really, really dislike this book.

If pulling out my eardrums, gouging my eyes out and emphatically cleaning my brain with robbing alcohol will help me forget this book, I'd do it!

First off, I didn't realise it was a book 2 to a book I had previously listened to, which was... mehhh, but this one was down right bad.

every detail is over explained, over emphasised and hella dramatic. At one point I had to make sure the characters were actual adults and not teens.

why was Lucy given a very annoying high pitched voice, when in her book she sounded quite normal? and all of a sudden Cooper has a strong southern accent that didn't previously exist.

Unfortunately I always finish books I start so imagine the torture when this book went on and on.

Definitely one of my worse listens.

GREAT

It was a great story but kind of predictable but still totally addictive. I couldn’t stop listening.

Alright

I struggled to like the lead female character. And I really didn't like the male narrators voice. I only finished the story because I had paid for it.
