Finally a common sense book about losing weight! I needed 2 chapters to get used to the accent of the narrator, but my mum who is an avid audiobook listener found her pleasant to listen to.

Just what I needed

What did you love best about The 21-Day Weight Loss Challenge?

It’s safe to say that the weight loss genre is packed with people claiming to have miracle cures capable of helping you lose loads of weight effortlessly. As a serial dieter I have been taken in by these claims numerous times but in the end I always wind up seeing little change which is extremely discouraging. I’ve never given up hope completely though and when I came across this book it instantly got my attention, as someone who implements the law of attraction in various other aspects of my life I found the concept of using it for weight loss fascinating. The mind is an extremely powerful tool but so few people actually utilize its full power, with nothing to lose and plenty to gain I decided to give this a try.

I’m ashamed to admit that in the past I have struggled to maintain certain diets, there are many temptations around and my sweet tooth has always been a weakness. However, following the advice and methods this book contains has really made a difference to my eating habits, I feel more motivated to stick to my goals and old cravings are a lot less intense.

For me this is what separates this guide from others, instead of just listing some healthy foods to eat it actually helps to give you the correct mind-set so that you can consciously curb your bad habits and eat healthily, best of all it doesn’t feel like you’re on a diet. Instead everything just feels natural like it’s the right thing to do.
As a result of my improved attitude towards food and diet I’ve managed to lose just over half a stone in 3 weeks. This is a significant amount considering the previous results I’ve had from other diets, looking to the future I’m now both excited and optimistic. I would not hesitate to recommend this book to others, the information is presented in a clear and concise manner making it easy to understand and implement the recommendations, most importantly of all though is the fact that it works.

lasting results

This is not about fast results, it's about rewiring the brain so you no longer WANT to keep an unhealthy lifestyle. Why does something so common sense almost sounds too good to be true? I'm forever grateful I escaped the diet trap, big thank you to the author and reader of this book and the self-love challenge one!!

21 Day Challenge series

Me and my girlfriend had some Audible credits left and choose to challenge ourselves with some books from the 21 Day Challenge series. I got the Budget and Minimalist Challenges and she choose this box set and the Weight Loss Challenge. I haven't listened to the box set myself, but she seems to enjoy them and I have no doubt they are of the same quality as the ones I picked. Recommended if you're ready to make some guided changes in your mindset & lifestyle!

No more fighting

This book is a lifesaver! Weight and dieting have been a struggle for me since my teenage years, I would loose weight with some popular diet and then gain it all back the moment I ran out of will power. This challenge woke me up, not with yet another magic solution, but by reminding me how the body and mind work when it comes to nutrition. The daily exercises gently and slowly reprogram the way you think, and as a result, how you behave when it comes to eating.

No discipline

I don't have much discipline and often give up before even trying, but this approach, having a small and realistic task every day works for me. All the small changes and activities really add up after 1+ weeks and I'm feeling much better. Cannot recommend this series enough!
