Love story

Good story, lots of vampires

I just finished the book and can't wait for the next one. I love the story,relationship, chemistry will definitely be recommending.

A little repetitive but good

I enjoyed the story overall. However, the internal dialogue was repetitive and that became a nuisance for me. I don’t know if this was about trying to complete a certain word count or if the author really felt it was necessary. This part of the series featured a lot of growth development on Luna’s part which I am guessing will be important for the final installment of the series.

if your looking for Vampire smut this isn't it .....

I have now learned to buy series one book at a time....

This is a very vanilla, I'll protect you, and keep your dignity while still being a Vampire...series. I won't be finishing it. It's very descriptive and filling.....with very little context.

Book 2- analytical MFC is annoying

I felt like this one improved from book 1, but overall thought it was lame in the love department. I felt it was repetitive, yes you’re in love but why and show her?! lol the growth in the couple is the best part but also the most annoying.. Luna being extra critical and doing things for scientific research was annoying. I keep thinking to myself that they’re adults but they need to grow up! The ending was the best part!

predictable

He has worked for the queen for decades but he never sees her games coming? He supposed to be prince of death but his strategy skills don't seem to be there. She is a scholar but sounds like a small child.

Love the story! Female Lead proformance needs work

I absolutely love the plot and the such sweet relationships between the FML and MML. I can not get enough of how sweet and warm feeling you get from reading this book. The book is a fade to black for explicit spice and does not describe more than kissing but I am happy with that because to me the romance in this book is much deeper and sweetier than explicit Fantasy Romance books. Now the performance for the Female Main Lead is not horrible but her voice and her performance seemed not to fit with the story in my opinion. Narrator had a older female, spoiled brat sound that just sounds wrong in my opinion but her performance is ok. So I skipped her POV and read her POVS instead of listening. As for the Male Narrator he totally nailed it for performance was amazing. His performance makes the audio book worth it.

Review

The male had speech impediment which was obnoxious, although he did animate the story well. The female did well and the story was written well.

Book 2 is even better!!

The first book was a little hard to get through but the second book was so much better. The character are more developed along with the world building. I am so glad I stuck it through and can’t wait to listen to the 3rd book
