A book you can’t put down

I know we’ve all read that review before. “This was a book I couldn’t put down.” But trust me when I say, I’ve never been scolded at work for listening to Audible before this book. From start to finish, every chapter had me cursing the author’s chosen break point for the chapter, and squeezing in, “Just one more chapter,” a little too often.

Great continuation of the story

As much of a mega fan as I am of the previous voice actor, Grant's style and pace are perfect for this crew of characters.

Still don’t like the change to the performer. Just isn’t the same. It’s growing on me but have have the ever growing urge to abandon the books.

Narrator Settings

Change your playback speed to x1.10. For some reason this new(to this series) narrators speak sounds like it's been digitally slowed down, almost to the point of what sounds like slurring. X1.10 playback speed normalizes his narration speed, to my ears anyways.

A stepping stone with the long wait for a new step

All the major players perform well in their own field of expertise. The storyline builds to a crescendo that awaits the next step in this world. The past promises a well looked forward continuation to the future. Kudos to both wordsmiths!
