The narrator is awesome. I love the sound of the voice. The book has one 's emotions going from happy to sad to suspense to surprise. It feels like you're right there with the characters. I think if I had to pick my favorite character, it would be Tina. She is outspoken, good natured, supportive, fun and thoughtful.

Great Second-Chance Romance
One of my favorite type of reads/listens! This story brought about two characters who knew each other, loved each other, and lived life apart before being brought back together under life's circumstances! And even when they were brought back together, all their problems were not just solved. The author took them through life and made the story something that they had to work for!
Max and Sara are two characters that you will fall in love with. Their journeys will draw you in and make you want them to have their HEA! They open your heart and give you a bit of joy in the process.
This story was so well written and the characters all make the story fantastic.
This is definitely being added to my favorite listen pile!

Wonderful Second Chance Romance
I will admit that I'm a sucker for a good second chance romance and this is definitely one of the best that I've come across. Mature characters, serious subject matter and plenty of twists and turns had me completely hooked. It was refreshing to see realistic and relatable characters in their 40's dealing with real issues, instead of 20-something rock stars, billionaires, etc. I'm grateful to the author for the flawed characters, as well as for dealing with infidelity, death, depression and addiction. There are several plot twists (which I won't divulge) but believe me when I say they're doozies!
The narration was outstanding and I loved the wonderful flow between the duo. I thoroughly enjoyed Tempt Me Too and would recommend it.

New to me author, and I enjoyed the book
This was a new author to me, and I felt her story line and character development were good overall. The sex wasn't graphic and the book focused more on the story line/plot/dialog which is nice. Often Sex can become the overpowering force in a romance book with little real dialog, so that was a change of pace. Within the story there is an adoption driven plot, and i'll admit that I am a bit sensitive when adoption plays into a story line, since often a simplistic societal view is conveyed rather than the complexity that is adoption. (Adoptions foundation is about loss and its complex emotions and feelings for adoptees and biologial family). The author did a fair job in that area, but could have fleshed it out a bit more, but that is just from my viewpoint as an adoptee. The duet narration was excellent, and the actors kept you in the story and I really enjoyed it.
Overall 4.5 stars.

Where to start...
If I'm honest I nearly didn't finish this book... There is a comment made by Max that his soon to be ex wife was selfish because she didn't want kids... As someone who has never wanted them, this got my back up... But I persevered and actually really enjoyed the story. There were A LOT of twists and turns!
Narration was really nicely done.

Awesome listen
I really enjoyed listening to this book. I loved the characters and the plot. I liked the writing style. The story was sweet and full of emotional moments that pull on your heart strings. I liked that everything wasn't perfect all the time between the main characters. They had room to grow. I enjoyed both narrators as well. They did a wonderful job at bringing each character to life with different voices and different personalities. I would definitely listen/read another book by this author. I would also listen to other books read by the narrators as well.

Warmed my heart
Sarah and Max meet in high school and fall in love, only they are too young to recognize that intense relationship. Then they move apart and are re -united years later, only by then, they aren't free to love each other. Then Sarah's husband dies, and fate brings them together one more time. Are they ready now? There are still complications to work through? Can they do it? What will her daughter's think? How will they accept this new man in Mom's life? It's a secret you'll have to find our for yourself. It's worth the listen (or read). This is an awesome storyteller with a plot that's well-written and characters you'll love. The narrators are fabulous.

Real life story
This is my first book from Stacy.
If you’re looking for a real hearted story this is great.
Although a very emocional one, that deals with alcohol, drugs, infidelity and what can you ask more, life changing secrets...
Just a few chapters in, you already care about what happens to the characters. It is very real.
It can be your neighbor story, it can be yours.
It seems to concentrate on second chances, after tragedies, after wrong that seemed right then decisions.
First love, true love and tough love.
The one thing that glues all together is hope.
I was asked to give it a listen and leave a review.
The dual narration was great although a felt some difficulty in earing Max’s friend.
Enjoyed this ride very much.
Wonder what next from this author.

Thoughtful
I was in two minds about this listen as I only lost my husband to cancer last year so was a little iffy
The story of a mother with her two daughters following the loss of her husband ...she then re establishs a relationship with her first love , there’s a couple of twists in this well written book but the speed in which she finds love again is too fast personally for me .
The narrration is a real performance which I find so important when listening as it can so easily break a book but if the performance of thi# had not been so good not so sure I would have continued as I did have a speed issue but pleased I did
I was gifted this book in exchange for a honest review

I haven't but Chris's version of George put me off a little bit, his fake laugh was a little irritating.

Lovely Listen!
This was a really enjoyable listen, a great story of a second chance romance between a coup!e in their early forties which is refreshing. I could relate to the references of dating in the 90's, before mobile phone and social media etc. Loved the narration and the story.
