    "Love these books"

Although I love the narrater of the first 3 I trully thought Jenna Lamia was perfect in the last 2 books, her voice was that of a young teenager and made a totally perfect fit, I was not in the least sorry of the change..

    "i agree Horrible Narrator !!!"

I have to say this narrator should read for little kids' books BUT these books need Edwina. She captures the characters & this girl sounds like a pre adolescent child & it disturbs me to hear her say F*** or any of the kind ...seems so wrong!

    "substandard narration"

I don't want to be mean, but the narrator for this book is really awful. especially when you're used to Edwina Wren for the last three.
She sounds like she's 10 yrs old now. The voices she uses for Zoey's friends are terrible except for Jack. It probably wouldn't seem as bad if there hadn't been such a terrific narrator for the first three books in the series. I can't even finish listening to this, I wish I could get my money back, it's just terrible!

"Please get the old narrator back"

My wife recommended the House of Night series to me because I enjoyed the Twilight saga so much. I do enjoy series so far, maybe even more than the Twilight saga and the reader for the first 3 books did an fantastic job and gave the book a mature sound and feel. These books are definitely for the older teenager/young adult/adult audience so when I heard Untamed, I was pretty disappointed in the narration. The reader sounds like she's 12 and in junior high school rather than a 17 year old (who would have been a Junior in High School if she wasn't marked) that has experienced more mature situations as in the last 3 books. I enjoyed the story but please bring back the original narrator for the 5th and future audiobooks. And these books should not be tagged with "Audible Kids", these are a bit more mature than that. Maybe Audible should consider an Audible Teens or Audible Young Adult section for these types of books.

The entire series is great, the characters are wonderful, and I am glad how the authors are consistently showing how the characters interact, plus deal with, and stand up to certain prejudices be it involving religion, homosexuality, social status, or just their own identity and who they are now becoming. It's great how the story is staying in current times, it would be really something if our great actors, singers and authors and such were vampires just living among us using their special talents. A very cool series and I can't wait for the next one. I hope it will be on Audible close to the same time as the book release.

Book was great but the change in narration to this person was just plain bad. It's slowly growing on me, but I lowkey loathe it

"Please- just please! Narrator ruined an otherwise great story"

I have never felt compelled to write a review of an audiobook before, but after suffering through hours of this, I felt I had to chime in. First, the story is great. I have read the whole series and, while recovering from an injury, thought it would be great to experience again as an audiobook. The first three books in the series were great. The narrator really brought life to the characters I remember. However, the new narrator on this audiobook absolutely ruined it. It was as if someone handed a 10 year old a script and said, "here- read this out loud, try to make the characters sound a little different, and be overly dramatic." It was truly painful. I was about to give up until I realized that I will only have to suffer through the next book with her and then a new narrator takes over. I don't know what anyone who had anything to do with selecting this narrator was thinking. It reminded me of one of those really awful local business commercials where the owner is the "actor" and you cringe every time you see it - imagine 11 hours of that. It's unfortunate that such a great story may lose listeners in the middle because of such an awful reading.

    "new narrator"

You're getting closer McMillan audio but still not the right narrator. The first narrator sounded as though she was in her 30's and now this narrator sounds like she's 12. Zoey just turned 17 and she's lost her virginity. I feel like I'm listening to a tween narrate this book, it's just wrong. I totally heart this series but the narrators have let me down. If you can, read this series instead of listening to it. Not your fault audible, and I still love you. Can't wait for Tempted to come out!! You go Cast duo!!
