Publisher's Summary

While her mother, aerobics queen Kiki Sparks, spends the summer touring Europe, 15-year-old Colie Sparks is stuck in sleepy Colby, North Carolina. But she's not complaining. For one thing, her Aunt Mira is a sweet, laid-back eccentric; for another, no one knows that back home in Charlotte Colie is seen as a formerly-fat "golf-course slut," the school scapegoat. Then, by fate or by accident, Colie lands a waitressing job, where she meets Morgan and Isabel. The two wisecracking--and wise--twentysomething waitresses help her turn her life around, and realize the potential that has been there all along.

Sarah Dessen's newest novel is poignant, humorous, and full of characters to cherish--what readers are coming to expect from this extraordinary young talent.

DON'T BUY THIS!!

The ending cuts off at the 12th chapter, with a couple more chapters left. It's ridiculous. I had to buy the book to finish it. It's a very good ending, but you won't get it by listening to the audiobook. Just read it! It's a fun read, anyways.

Complete At Last

If you have purchased this book but only received 12 out of 15 chapters, delete the files and download them to your device again. Audible has re-uploaded the book, and now all 15 chapters are available. Thank you, Audible, for resolving this issue. It is a wonderful story, one of Dessen's best. Memorable characters, simple but effective plot with life lessons most of us could use.

what happened?

It's a lot like her book "The Truth About Forever", which I love, and the characters are a lot like the charaters in that book, except maybe they changed clothes and moved. I was starting to enjoy it, then it just ended. Nothing happened, she just finished a sentence and it was "The End." It's like they forgot the add the 2nd part or something. Very disappointing.
