Publisher's summary
Kingdoms collide in Sarah J. Maas' epic fifth installment in the New York Times best-selling Throne of Glass series.
The long path to the throne has only just begun for Aelin Galathynius. Loyalties have been broken and bought, friends have been lost and gained, and those who possess magic find themselves at odds with those don't.
As the kingdoms of Erilea fracture around her, enemies must become allies if Aelin is to keep those she loves from falling to the dark forces poised to claim her world. With war looming on all horizons, the only chance for salvation lies in a desperate quest that may mark the end of everything Aelin holds dear.
Aelin's journey from assassin to queen has entranced millions across the globe, and this fifth installment will leave fans breathless. Will Aelin succeed in keeping her world from splintering, or will it all come crashing down?

Story
A Great Winged One will soon arise and cast his fearsome shadow upon the land. And just as Night slays Day, and Day slays Night, so also shall another Black Witch rise to meet him, her powers vast beyond imagining. So foretells the greatest prophecy of the Gardnerian mages. Carnissa Gardner, the last prophesied Black Witch, drove back the enemy forces and saved her people during the Realm War. Now a new evil is on the horizon, and her granddaughter, Elloren, is believed to be Carnissa's heir—but utterly devoid of power in a society that prizes magical ability above nearly all else.

Story
Two years ago, Louise le Blanc fled her coven and took shelter in the city of Cesarine, forsaking all magic and living off whatever she could steal. There, witches like Lou are hunted. They are feared. And they are burned. As a huntsman of the Church, Reid Diggory has lived his life by one principle: Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live. But when Lou pulls a wicked stunt, the two are forced into an impossible situation - marriage. Lou, unable to ignore her growing feelings, yet powerless to change what she is, must make a choice. And love makes fools of us all.

I truly enjoyed Empire of Storms
Empire of storm is great story and I look forward to the next release. I have to say Aelin is just so lovable and she has won my heart. She is beautiful, smart , so giving. She is willing to scare her life so others may live. She is amazing.
I highly recommend this book. This book is full of adventure. Aelin may sound so full of herself; but she is full of love for the people and causes that she loves.
Rowan, Doran, Manon, Aedion and Lorcan are also great characters. I like the way we were able to her different characters POV.
I don't think this book is appropriate for kids as young as 11-13. I do think that there are parts of the book which are not appropriate for kids which are that young.
An applause to Sarah Mass and Elizabeth Evans. Good job.
I can see this series book becoming a tv show or movie.

Hooked
I have listened to many of Sarah J. Maas' novels and have fallen deep into the story. I feel that the main characters are well developed and there are enough details to paint the picture without becoming overwhelming. I recommend this series to young adults that enjoy fantasy. There are some explicit moments, so please keep that in mind (but they are brief and not often).
I absolutely love the series and wait with bated breath for the next novel!

Amazing ending, but seemed like a bit of a filler
I loved the ending and the bits of action, but to me, some of it seemed like a filler. But it was amazing how the author kept you on the edge of your seat and how everything was strung together perfectly.

Entranced
I've listened to this series so many times now I pretty much know it by heart. It is an enthralling story. The editing could use a little work, but the book and the voice actress are amazing

I was hoping
Great story, great narration.
I don't know if I just missed the details in the other books is the series or if it was just this one expending on details of sex. Was hoping for more details on battle sequences.
