John's endless positivity and enthusiasm is contagious. It's clear that he loves helping people better themselves. He does this quite effectively by weaving personal experiences with actionable steps to overcome fears, bad habits, and challenges.

As a business person in fields vastly different from aviation, I found this book to be excellent - informational, interesting, and helpful. John Tillison uses aviation stories and examples to bolster his very relevant insights into habits, behaviors, and attitudes that we need to have to be successful in business and in life. His aviation parallels are very understandable to non-aviation folks and his topic material is so important for us all, whether it is a new concept or the gentle reminder that we all need. This should be considered in the category of 'Leadership' books, though it has lessons in it that can be applied to life's circumstances - especially in these turbulent, unpredictable times. This is an easy read, or, in my case, an easy listen, as I got the audio version. There were several points in the book where I had to pause, and just reflect how this point or advice really applied to a situation that I am in ... now.
Good stuff. He'd be an interesting chap to have lunch with, methinks.

Tillison does an outstanding job of taking advice and techniques from some of the best coaches, motivational speakers, business leaders and everyday heroes and weaves them into a compelling thesis. John then uses aviation themes and events to deliver a truly entertaining operating manual for success. I highly recommend!!!

The moral of the story for adults

Very motivating,
John finds a story to tell that will relate to every type of person, no matter who you are or where your from. His stories brought me back to my childhood dreams. Made me want to fulfill all of my passions in life. John helped me to remember to dream, and dream big. We have today. Make the most of it.
