Publisher's summary
Only Riley, vet tech and dog whisperer, can identify the serial killer. The obsessed killer stalks her; Riley must die.
Riley has a gift: she talks to and understand animals. After her employer abruptly closes the clinic where she has always worked, Riley and Toby, her rescued German Shepherd, move to her hometown for a new job. Did we mention the cute deputy? It's awkward.
As one murder follows another, she discovers her unique connection with the seemingly unrelated deaths can lead her to expose the murderer’s scheme. When she gets too close, the desperate killer escalates his attempts to silence her. Riley intends to escape death.
