Publisher's Summary

Ryder Rodgers had a plan. He was going to stride into the conference room, do the required song and dance over the next five days, and win the biggest contract of his career. But when he walksed in and heard the voice of one of his competitors, all his plans were shot to hell. Harper Denton. She was always on top. In college. First in their class. Always using every advantage to edge him out to win the coveted positions. The only one who could beat him. His academic rival. More like a constant thorn in his side. And his ego.

When he heard her voice, he was brought back to years before. To the bitter taste of being second best. But the woman who met his gaze is nothing like the drab wallflower he used to know. Hell no. She was all woman now: curves, confidence, and staggering sex appeal. And, no doubt, still brilliant. The fact that she was gorgeous and bright wouldn't distract him. This time Ryder was determined to be the one on top. But not if Harper could help it.

Love Arndt and York

The narrators are the dynamic duo. The story is very ordinary. Love the beard burn though!

It was just okay

Of course my favorite narrators aided in my decision to finish the book and there were some cute moments but the book as a whole didn't do much for me. The two main characters were college debate study buddies and rivals. On graduation day they went there separate ways NY and LA only to end up on a 3 day bid together 13 years later. While there were cute moments there were some things he left unsaid for me and the flow left some things to the imagination that I would've like to read in the story. Even the ending felt unfinished.

Where is the rest???

This book really had me going, then it abruptly ended before you feel like the story was over. As ALWAYS the narration duo was amazing!!! I normally really like Bromberg books. When it ended I had to check to make sure that it wasn't a mistake...it wasn't. Disappointed!!

Love it!

I'm normally a greedy reader. I want all the words and long stories. However, this was perfect to listen to as I was catching up on chores. The story was still well developed, and the narration was completely perfect!

Wish it was longer

I would love to hear more from Ryder. This was cute and sweet just want more. The writing was promising and the narrators were spot on.

Well that was a stupid ending...

For the most part I loved the book. Who doesn't love Sebastian York and Andi Arndt? Overall, the book was cute but it just ended abruptly.

4 sweet and sexy stars

Love K Bromberg! I held off on this since it was a novella which I'm usually not a fan of. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it though. If you like enemies to lovers storyline and want to get a quick fix this is the way to go. Both the hero and heroine are strong characters and I enjoyed the push and pull between them. I only wish this would have been a full length novel because I'm greedy like! Narration was superb 5 stars.

Hot and Sweet

*I found this book through Audible’s romance package*

I was looking forward to this little book after I read Sweet Cheeks by the same author.

The story was hot and I wouldn’t have minded if the story was even longer <3
The banter between the two main charters is funny and I laughed a lot. Harper doesn’t quite know which foot to stand on when it comes to Ryder, so she is kind of nervous around him, which results in some pretty funny slip ups form her.

Both of the narrators are my favorites, so I have no complaints! :D

Great Narrators, Annoying Heroine

This was just okay for me. I liked the premise of the story, the writing was good, the narration fabulous and Ryder was a treat, but I found Harper to be sort of annoying. She was so worried about her career, but she was jeopardizing it anyway and I couldn't get on board with her for that.
