Publisher's Summary

Faking It never felt so good in this red-hot new stand-alone by New York Times best-selling author K. Bromberg - available in audio first!

Zane Phillips mistook me for his dog walker. It shouldn't surprise me that the man with a suit more expensive than my rent would assume that I was there to serve him. The positive? I put him in his place. The negative? I missed my job interview because of it. Now I find out he's a rich Australian entrepreneur, and he wants to make up for tanking my interview.

Yes, he's impossibly hot - but he's also an arrogant jackass - so...no thanks.

But after a little white lie I tell spirals out of control, I'm somehow offered the chance to play Zane's girlfriend to help promote his new dating website - and the best part? He can't say no because he'll get caught in his lie, too.

Little did I know this would entail sharing a tour bus with him for the next few months. The fact that the bus has just one bed isn't the most ideal of circumstances, but this spokesperson gig might be the kick in the pants my career needs, so why not take a chance?

Famous last words

Now I'm crisscrossing the country - and sharing that bed - with the one guy I can't stand. And even worse, my traitorous body is wondering at every turn what it's like to be down under the gorgeous Australian. But as the miles unfurl, so does our passion...and if I'm not careful, I might end up believing that fairy tales really do come true.

COMPELLING, COMPULSIVE & A COMPLETE BARGAIN

Well wow.. that was eight and a half compelling and delicious hours of fun and flirts as Zane, the sexy, handsome, arrogant, opinionated, mega-rich Australian Entrepreneur gets sideswiped and out-manoeuvred by Harlow - an unemployed, down-to-earth, sassy, sweet, clever beauty who makes his blood boil.. but not in a good way! Along this couple’s addictive ‘fake’, yet very real, romance there’s lots of sizzles as their chemistry ignites and there’s lots of conversations that start and end with barbed banter. Zane doesn’t believe in love and there’s an invisible wall with vigilant security surrounding his heart.. but, over time, that wall slowly topples.. and the invisible light of true love shines brightly on a once dead heart. Their animosity towards each other only fuels their desires in this Cat and mouse - push ‘n pull - enemies to lovers dual POV romance that was expertly narrated.

Worth a credit? Yes it definitely would’ve been - it’s K. Bromberg and I love her.. BUT it’s in the Romance Package deal.. so I got this little gem for next to nothing.. how happy am I right now.

Fake it till you make it!

The ultimate game of cat and mouse, Faking It was a refreshing listen that had me smiling from ear to ear.

Zane and Harlow had instant chemistry that came across in spades. They both knew the right buttons to push at exactly the right times. Their flow was fun, yet sexy and I looked forward to hearing just what issue they had to conquer next. The narration was great. Erin Mallon and Rupert Channing complement each other well, which made for an enjoyable listen. As with all of Kristy’s books, Faking It had a solid storyline and addictive characters. A definite must listen!

Oh man!!!

This book was great- filled with humor, amazing characters, and a world-class narration team. K Bromberg always packs a punch and did not hold back here. I loved it!

Erin Mallon is seriously my unicorn! She can do no wrong. I was so glad to see this combo and would have handed over way more than one credit for it. It's worth it.

Erin and Rupert are perfection!

Faking It is K. Bromberg's newest standalone romance which releases in Audio first! I typically read the book first and then listen, but with Faking It I got to hear the story for the first time and it's a totally different experience. I had no idea what was going to happen next and Erin and Rupert kept me gasping and waiting for more. Erin is one of my favorite narrators and she killed it as Harlow. She does emotion and the male voice perfectly. Rupert tickled my ears with his sexy voice and accent. It's the story of mistaken identity that leads to apologies, little white lies and then having to pretend to be in a relationship with the world watching. Harlow and Zane have to fake it to get what they want in the end. But what happens when they can't fake it anymore? Can they let go of their pasts and find happiness? Together? I loved this story! I love listening to the raw emotions these narrators are so great at. I sighed, laughed, cried and moaned along with them. It was funny, sexy, fun, and emotional. Overall, it was fantastic and I loved every word.

Sassy fake relationship

Refreshing, fun read with great banter and ever better chemistry. I always love a good fake romance and this one is definitely one of my top favs!

The narration was fantastic. Ruppert's accent definitely takes this book to the next level. Erin and Ruppert did a great job bringing these characters to life!

A great read.

What a fun, sexy, and great ride this book was. I truly enjoyed listening to the relationship unfold between the two main characters. I definitely recommend this book, and this author. And the narrators were wonderful.

Brilliant story with perfect narration! A must listen!

Another fantastic and brilliant story by K. Bromberg. Absolutely loved it. Oh Zane... Cocky, sexy and so easy to fall for. Harlow is one of my favorite heroines to read. Feisty, strong and willing to fight for what she believes in. Their chemistry is off the charts! Their banter will leave you laughing or breathless wanting more. The narration is perfection. Erin Mallon and Rupert Channing nailed the character. You will devour this story. I highly recommend this book!

Fantastic story and narration!!

I love listening to this audiobook. It was sexy, sassy, light, sometimes infuriating( in a good way) and super fun. It’s refreshing having a book from Kristy that didn’t brought me tears. Between Zane’s cocky attitude, Aussie accent and Harlow’s sassiness and strong persona, it was a great combination. I wanted to strangle them both at some points. It was fun listening to them getting in each others nerves and banter back and forward. They have to act totally and madly in love in front of everyone and apparently couldn’t stand each other behind close doors. Oh so they were trying too tell themselves. The reality was the chemistry between them was undeniable and they weren’t able to contain it long. So what happened when you start believing the lie and pretenses needs to end??? That’s for me to know and for you all to found out.

Erin Mallon as Harlow and Rupert Channing as Zane worked like magic. They brought this character to life with perfection. The accents, the intensity, the strong feelings and funny scenes where present and made Kristy’s story came to life. If you are an audiobook and Kristy books lover you will definitely enjoy this one A LOT.

I Loved it!

K Bromberg wrote a story that pulled me in from the very beginning. Harlow and Zane are the featured couple in this book. I loved how the story has humor, great chemistry, and a happy ending. There is so much more to the book than what I expected. The author wrote a great standalone listen. The imagery in this book is great! Harlow and Zane do not start out on the right foot, but a pair of shoes brings them together. Rupert Channing and Erin Mallon performed this book brilliantly. Both narrators put so much realistic emotion into their characters. I loved this listen!

What a fun story!

I write reviews so infrequently that one might say that I’m stingy with my praise. They would e right. Faking It was a real surprise and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s quirky and interesting and a fun respite from the world.

Sometimes you got to fight for your own Fairytale

I’ve just finished listening to this on audio 🎧

Zane is your typical man who shuts down his feelings whenever the slight thought of anything past 1/2 nights.
The attitude of Love is Bull isn’t going to set any woman’s world on 🔥

Harlow is one strong ass woman and she’s determined to get her life to turn around and when an opportunity arises for her to take she doesn’t quite realise what’s about to happen.

Life changes for both of them but when things do a complete 180,
but who’s about to make the first move?

Fun cheeky with a little bit of real life who isn’t down for some K Bromberg bringing us some swoon worthy characters 👌🏻

Sometimes you’ve got to fight for your own Fairytale ❤️

A firm favourite for me

Enemies to lovers to so much more. You know the story, just sex, no feelings, they’ll walk away once it’s out of their system, yada, yada, yada. Well that was Zane (super hot and arrogant) and Harlow (gorgeous, with a heart of gold), they meet, misunderstand each other, come to an agreement, lie to the world, fake a relationship and then of course deny their feelings. Fab story, wonderful writing with interesting characters. I loved it, I also loved the narration, I’m not too familiar with either Erin Mallon or Rupert Channing, I’ll most definitely be looking into getting more of their audios.
