Publisher's Summary

Flying too close to the sun, not seeing the forest for the trees, and standing knee-deep in a certain river in Egypt. That’s the cage that Aaron has wrapped around himself - the lock that Logan is about to break open.

Matchmaker matched.

Once upon a time, Logan had a quick, wonderful one-night stand with a mysterious omega. He felt a real connection, something he’d never had with anyone else and hasn’t had again. When he invests in a dating app company, Almega, he never expects to find his unknown omega behind it all.

Aaron is a brilliant young software developer, a matchmaker that has brought together numerous new loves over the years. Yet, he’s never found anyone for himself. While this raises eyebrows, his clients have mostly accepted it. So did Aaron. Until Logan came on board with the company.

With Aaron’s dad hovering over the two, can they make their spark turn into something more? Or will it fizzle under the watchful eye of Almega’s owner?

As always, there is no cheating , we guarantee a happily ever after ending, and this audiobook in the series and every other audiobook in the series can be listened to in any order.

as good as the ebook

The story is always 4 or 5 stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook.

The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. It took me a little bit, to come into the narrator, but at the end, it worked. I only have to take a few breaks between. I'm just not yet finish with the book, but I listen enough to give a review.

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

To my ratings:

5* - very very good
it's like an A+

4* - very good and will be often re-listening
it's like an A

3* - it's more then a one-time-listening, but not more then twice a year.
it's like a B

Terrible Narration

The narrator is all wrong for these characters, I've read and listened to this whole series and this last one is disappointing in that The impression you get of Aaron and Logan in the previous installments don't seem to follow through here which is likely made worse by how it is narrated. The overall story isn't bad, might read it to see if it flows better without the narration.

Aaron's Story

The East Coast Sugar Daddies app finally matches the lead programmer, Aaron. May/October genre.

Instead of being happy with his match, Aaron tweaks the program . Short of wiping the program completely and starting from scratch, Aaron finds that every change he makes still matches him with the same man... his father's best friend, and his high school crush. Aaron has secrets, and he can only keep them close by avoiding his match. Irony, we'll name you Aaron.

Narrator Kaeomakana Tiwanak has a voice that is in a naturally high register. It is good for a young omega, but I found it out of character for a middle aged alpha. It was hard to believe in the MCs as one was in his 20's, and the other was in his 40's. The maturity expected in an older alpha just wasn't there.

Sorry to see this series ending with this book

I have so enjoyed this series of 5 books, but being able to sit back and have them read to me by a professional narrator just adds so much more to the over all enjoyment of the series. Even though it says that you can read them in any order; please take my advise, because I goofed and read 2 of them out of order and was really confused as to who was who. So I stopped and went back and started over and then it made so much more sense to me! I have added these five books to the top of my must re-read/listen list and will be looking forward to do that in the future. I would compare the enjoyment of these stories with the series of books written by A.C. Katt "The Werewolves of Manhattan". Both Austin & Aiden are outstanding Authors who continue to deliver well researched story line's, thought out plot's and thoroughly developed characters in their books. At least in this readers opinion! An avid reader/listener in Rock tavern, NY.

Finally the matchmaker gets matched!!!

Finally Aaron is matched to his Alpha but he was horrified!! First his dad berates him non stop about the app and working with computers. Then he finds out his match is his boss and his dad’s best friend! It was so touch and go that I didn’t know if they were gonna find happiness or not. But in the end there was a great HEA!

Sweet

Logan is cute, funny, & very sassy, Aaron is sexy & adorably arrogant...so the perfect combination. This was my favorite of the series both characters had to grow before they fit. Plus the book offered a glimpse at past MC.

My Review

As always the author writes a great story, I enjoyed this one because the omega didn't believe the alpha could love him even though the were matched by the app, liked the ending when they finally got together. The narrator was a bit bland for my taste.
