Inspirational

I see this as someone discovering their God given gifts and fulfilling the ‘calling’ of writing stories given to her in dreams and through her own imagination. I don’t see her as ‘Self-Made’ rather ‘God-Made’. What inspires me is that we are all eternal creatures created by the same God and have the same potential to excel in our various callings or gifts. As many people around the world who cheered her on and followed her success, many of us could experience similar by drawing closer to God and discovering our purpose and excelling at it. We won’t all have the whole world involved, but can be satisfied and fulfilled in serving Him the way Stephanie Matter was.

Stephanie invested time in what she enjoyed; reading. Many of us pursue what we’re told to, or what we believe we should pursue. I believe Stephanie was rewarded for being genuine to who she we made to be.

2009

This was a fun look into the life and mindset of brilliant author Stephenie Meyer. It made me love her even more! BUT, it is old. I would love to know what she is up to now and her plans for future books. I enjoyed The Chemist, but would love to hear the latest from Forks.

Fun listen for a fan of Meyer

This book is a good listen for anyone who enjoys the Twilight series. Probably not too many big revelations, but a great collection of Meyer's own words about her upbringing and what it was like to write the book that started as a dream and turned into a mega-bestseller.
