Left me wanting more!

This novella was fantastic. It look a couple of chapters to begin to see where things were going, but once able to identify who the primary characters were and their backstories, the story took off. By the end, I was ready to look the series up and get the next book to continue the story. Definitely a good listen and highly recommended.

Facing reality

This is just the beginning of Leah and Morgan's story. You get to know a bit of their background. Leah has not come to terms with her sexuality yet and Morgan is in a relationship with someone who needs more help than she knows how to give. They share an attraction, but I don't see how it can go anywhere at this point. Their story continues in Awakened. I did enjot the narrator Charlie L. Wood.

Quick story

This is a very short story, it’s a prequel to Awakened. This was a nice start with developing the characters. Leah is a journalist who goes to an lgbqt event at her college. She goes for journalistic purposes but starts to discover things about herself. Morgan is in a relationship where they are going through an emotional experience. The story is well written, although short. Would definitely read more from this author.

Passed the taste test.

Well Ms. Malone, you have my attention, Now where's the rest, I went down the rabbit hole and this story promises some painful growing seasons for the characters. I recieved a free promo code so no complaints, but if I gave up a credit I wouldn't be a happy girl, this story has a lot more to come....and I can't wait!
This is my first listen of Cara Malone. Super impressed thus far, Narration by Charlie L. Wood was easy on the ears , five stars.

This is a very well written and narrated story that is fun to listen to and enjoy

I love the way the lives of the characters intermingled! I was definitely left wanting more and am glad to see it is apart of a series. I enjoyed the narration it was pleasant and easy to listen to.

Where’s the rest of the story?

Book is a teaser of the possibilities in each of the characters lives. I’ll hope for a follow up. Enjoy the author.
