Wonderful Second Chance Romance

This is my first book by Bryce Oakley, and I throughly enjoyed it. I’ll be sure to follow.

Quinn Riley brought the nuance of the characters to life like usual, and added steam to the spicy love scene. Great overall.

One of those, “why did I wait so long to read this one?? 😩” kind of reads, and holy smokes, I FINALLY freaking read it, and it was absolutely AMAZING! 🥰

This friend group is coming together for a ski trip in Telluride, and Danica, freshly broken up with her now ex-fiancé, will be seeing her former college situationship 15 years after they broke up, and oh it was just so gooood.

The longing these two have held for one another all this time. 🥺 The flirting, the looks, the *togetherness*, I was living for it all!

So many fun scenes of skiing/snowboarding, karaoke and even just them *talking*, I was hooked the whole way through, and really fell hard for this little friend group, foibles and all.

Immediately adding book 2 to the TBR because I NEED those gals’ story pronto! 👀

Audiobook notes: Quinn Riley is one of my all-time faves, and she was so amazing, yet again, with this one. The voices (literally each woman sounds so distinct from one another! 🙌), the longing, the emotions, I loved it all. Can’t wait to listen to her do the rest of the series, too! 😍

What the hell was that snowboarding instructor? I'm still stuck on it, lol. Definitely not the best Australian accent I've heard. I was surprised because Quinn Riley always excels at different accents.

I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook. A wonderful story. A great narrator. What more do you want? Highly recommend.
