He hoped this would be a simple sit down and parley, but as soon as he laid eyes on their gorgeous leader, he knew he was in over his head.

I gotta say that SLADE is definitely the best story in this series. Fanning did a fantastic job bringing the series to a close with this final installment. She also made me feel more invested in the story than in the previous episodes of the series. Originally I really disliked the FMC, Veronica. She seemed to really suck at leading a clan. Then my opinion started to change and I was amazed at how the author was able to twist that on me.

I gotta say that Meghan Kelly’s narration was pretty awesome for this one. She did a great job switching up her voice to differentiate the characters in the group scenes. As always though I think her acting could be better. She uses the wrong inflection in her words sometimes and the emotion she’s supposed to be portraying doesn’t match her tone.

Perfect Finish To A Sweet Series with Heat.

I think of all the leading men in this series, Slade was my favorite. This story had humor, heat, and sweet, sweet resolution. Standout narration completed the perfect package.

Amazing book this one is. Love shifter books and this one had alot of thrills packed in it. A must have book.

Great book, kept my attention all the way to the end, amazing audio delivery, loved it. Will be reading again, every chapter was received amazingly do recommend you give it a read.
