This audio story was fantastic on character creations, with intense emotional capture. Each character demonstrated true guilt. wonderfully captivating to the very end!!!

Avid Lapena Fan

I enjoyed this books, as someone who enjoyed most of her books, EXCEPT THE COUPLE NEXT DOOR. If you like her other works this is a lot like that.

It’s good

I like the premise of the story. The characters just don’t feel quite developed in a way to be completely invested in them and also what happened/will happen. There was also a bit of repetition which drives me crazy as it’s so unnecessary in most cases. But even with all that aside it’s still interesting to listen thru to the end.

January does an excellent job narrating for all the characters giving them all their own unique voice.

This was a great book!

I bought this book in a hurry because I needed something before bed. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. I was convinced several times who did it, and was surprised in the end. I enjoyed this book.

Oooh... this was such a good book, and I'd give it even more stars if I could! Bryden Frost going missing was just the first layer of this onion-layered thriller that keeps getting better and better as the story unfolds.

Great story plot. One of Shari's absolute best. Read by the best narrator in the business! I loved it. Kept me guessing and that's hard to do.
