From the character interactions that made me want to pull out my hair in frustration to the genuine a-ha moments when things began to click, I was hooked. The writing and narrator are good but it is the same song and dance. Same pony show. Smooth guy going for woman that are in a vulnerable state and swindles them. No big twist in my opinion.

I knew that I was going to like this book, because the author and performer are amazingly talented. however, what I wasn't prepared for for was the depth of the story and how it reached out and pulled me in immediately. there have been very few times that I've listened to an audible and immediately wanted to go back and listen to it again. That's the way I feel about this book. It's one that stays with you long after you finished it. Miss Jewel really knew how to draw the reader in. This book deserves the highest rating for story development, depth of characters, plot, suspense, and all around an amazing listen. Make this your next listen.

I am growing very weary of so many stories being the same in this particular genre. Sometimes I finish a good book and then can’t seem to land on anything that keeps my attention. Decided to give this one a shot. It was so good. With every Credit, I highly recommend. It was one of those books. I did not want to end. And that saying something…
