Morrison "Shadow" Griggs, VP of the Cerberus MC, is a force with which to be reckoned. Women fall at his feet, willing to do almost anything for a night with him.
Misty Bowen is the exception. She's young and impressionable, but with her religious upbringing, she's able to resist Shadow's advances...for a while, at least.
Never one to look back on past conquests, Shadow is surprised that he's intrigued by Misty, which only grows more when she seems to be done with him without a word. Being ghosted by a 21-year-old is not the norm where he's concerned, and the rejection doesn't sit right with him. Life goes on, however, until Misty shows up on the doorstep of the Cerberus MC clubhouse with a surprise that rocks his entire world off of its axis.
Contains mature themes.

I understood Shadow's actions way more than Misty's. She screwed up over and over. I understood going for the abortion and changing her mind but rushing the adoption made zero sense. Why sign papers that left her no chance of changing her mind, especially when the social worker kept telling her she didn't need to sign them. Then her thinking she needed to move out to prove she could support herself was asinine. Why yes the court would think it looked better to be a single mom then being with the father... Huh? Let alone the fact that she just did it without talking to him first AND while he was gone. It was a weak move.
I get Misty was scared but most of her decisions were just dumb. When Shadow finally comes around and is showing her attention, staying in touch. etc. That's when she decides to leave. It was drawn out unnecessary drama. Yes, Shadow was an ass early on, but Misty was selfish and didn't even tell him about Griff, just shows up broken carrying an infant and that's after she lied about being on birth control. He had every right to be pissed. Too long? Maybe. but that's alot to get over.
Overall I enjoyed it, I just felt like there was a bit too much filler and back and forth between them.
