Could not put down!

I ended up catching myself thinking about this book and trying manage time in my day to listen to it.You’ll to listen in-depth into case strokes, the only thing i wish was that there was crime scene photos!

Truely Shocking

It doesn't seem to matter how many of Jack's books I read about serial killers, I am still utterly shocked, disgusted and horrified by the behavior of these people (if you can call them that). With that being said, I was able to blast through this book because it's definitely rapid fire stories that keep you interested...it's digesting the material afterward that causes an issue as remembering these are TRUE stories will keep anyone up at night.

Good Listen

Wish it was longer but a good thing to listen when trying to kill an afternoon.

Disturbing, one after the other

Fascinating and dreadful. When the mood strikes, this is the perfect way to get the twisted fix of sick listening. The stories are terribly disturbing but sometimes that's just what I like.

Creepy, yet thrilling!

This book has so much details on serial killers. Sometimes it is difficult to understand the mindset behind the grevious evil perpetrated by these twisted folks, however, listening to the details of their lives sometimes put everything into perspective. This kind of closure (not the best words, but close. Nothing can rationalize the twisted nature of serial killers!) is what this book offers by shedding light on some intricate details about the serial killers, their victims, and the role of the law enforcement agencies.

True Crime and More!

Riveting! This book gave me chills (which is a good thing). I have always been fascinated by law and order, and this book gives me a great assessment of the works of law enforcement in keeping the peace. Also, I got enough details and background on the most notorious serial killers, their strategy, victims and their end.

Pretty Good

This was a really good encyclopedia concerning serial killers. I really liked that it branched out from the US and dealt with cases from around the world, and that it talked about cases that aren't known by the wider public instead of just focusing on serial killers that people have heard of, such as Jeffrey Dahmer or Fred and Rosemary West. It was pretty cool in that it also focused on female serial killers as well, such as the woman who poisoned her stepchildren with acid. Each chapter is quite small, so it's not massively detailed, but it does have a quick overview of each victim, their childhood, how they killed, their victims, the timeline of events and their capture/imprisonment and death, if applicable.

The big book of serial killers

The book was well wrote. All the facts of each person made it easy to follow. It is something that there are people out among us like that. Thank you for the very interesting book.
