Don't miss the point. Listen in.
Purpose is at the heart of every spiritual discipline, religion, empowerment programme, and effectiveness technique. What's your Purpose? Whatever path you're on, at some stage you will want to know the answer to this question. If not now, when?
Whatever changes you are looking to make, knowing and living your Purpose will bring you to a new level of dynamic effectiveness. As well as growing your abilities, it will also take your self-confidence to a new level. Full of stories, exercises, and anecdotes, this highly engaging series takes you to a point of clarity and deep insight, and will put a smile on your face.
Divided into three programmes, this series goes much further than an ordinary audiobook. It is a dedicated coaching programme that will ask you questions and give you tools and techniques to help you live the most inspiring part of yourself everyday. Born out of training over 60,000 people, this programme has helped thousands of people the world over to find and live their Purposes compellingly every day.
Courage comes from deep commitment and clarity. Living your Purpose gives you both. This programme helps you find your Purpose in about an hour and a half - about as long as it takes to watch a film.
Who will you be living your Purpose?
"Richard Jacobs asks the questions that matter with a beguiling combination of urgency and compassion. This series will save you time, energy, and a whole load of painful searching. Does that promise say 'Yes' to you?" (David Firth, author of Sacred Business, Corporate Voodoo, and the Corporate Fool)
After giving some basic instructions on "purpose in life", the author applies a 7-question assessment. I applied to myself and this experience gave me valuable insights for my own purpose. Don't expect miracles, but I think it will also be useful for you. Two more things: 1) I advice you to read/listen some basic self development books before this, 2) There are some references to religion, though they're not so disturbing.

Very impressed with this author. He is definitely living his purpose and making a difference through his work.
For Auditory Digital \ Internal Dialogue people this audiobook is a great exploration of different areas of life. If you're self motivated and can push through all the questions with pen and paper, you'll arrive at an interesting destination. This is a workshop audiobook, so get ready to put in some WORK if you want to answer the question in the title of the book and find your own purpose.
For the majority of people (Visual or Kinesthetic) this book will just seem like a game of 100 questions that doesn't push hard enough, and a personal development seminar will be a better investment of your energy.

Excellent. First class! You will need to commit to four or five listens but, do the exercises and see it through and genuinely it will help.
Reasonably clear and easy to follow, although it will take a lot of pausing and rewinding to really get the message and to do the exercises. (If I was Richard Jacobs I would probably have extended it an hour and made it a bit more repetitive to hit the message ?home?)
There is a lot worse on the market at vastly inflated prices. This is a bargain for the quality of content but irrelevant unless you listen to it sitting at a table with a pen and a few sheets of A3 (not one for the car!)

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would certainly recommend this audiobook to anyone who wanted to home in on what really makes their heart sing and their life worth living.
What other book might you compare What's your Purpose? to, and why?
I've never read anything quite like it. I've read a number of self-development books (quite a large number!) but this one was really helpful, explanatory, and had excellent (if sometimes a bit 'out there') questions to help you understand better what makes you tick.
What about Richard Jacobs’s performance did you like?
He really explained things well and clearly.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
It would probably help to listen to it in one go - though you need to stop the audio in a number of places in order to discover your answers to the questions - as it would make it easier to keep your previous answers in mind while working on the later parts.
Any additional comments?
This was an excellent book that did exactly what it set out to do.
It is a useful tool, but the recording is abridged - some bits are missing - especially towards the end.
