Publisher's Summary

Imagine. Believe. Achieve.

Many self-help books offer a lot of new age platitudes and sappy mantras:

Just love yourself. See the glass as half full. Believe it and it will come.

Really? That’s not how it works, and you know it. A lifetime’s worth of struggle is not overturned in a small moment of positive thinking. But if you have the right attitude - attitude and skills - you can and will accomplish anything and everything you want. This book gives you both, attitude and action. By its end, you will have all the tools you need to change your life. No hype. No false promises. You will learn to:

  • Cultivate your passion and embrace your uniqueness to create a purpose-filled life... on your own terms
  • Transform your suffering into peace, wisdom, and strength
  • Work through fear, worry, shame, and negative self-talk to blast through obstacles and create self-confidence, self-esteem, and a healthy self-image
  • Take powerful, informed, deliberate actions to make your dreams a reality

Forget surviving; it’s your time to thrive. You do have the ability and potential to achieve unlimited health, wealth, and happiness. Getting there won’t all be easy - nothing worthwhile ever is - but take this journey and your life will change dramatically. Your possibilities are unlimited, and your life is waiting for you to break free and claim it.

Interesting book, if your willing to work

Bottom line:
If your willing to put in the work this book is going to push you in the right direction.

Any time a book starts off by saying it's not your 'average self help book' you know your in for an average self help book with re-hashed info. This started that way and quickly changed, this isn't a book that you can read and get a few ideas from. You have to be willing to put in some work and after that you will find yourself in a better place. I will admit there are a few spots I glazed over, but overall I was quite impressed with the delivery and structure along with the exercises included.

Well worth the read, I actually bought the hard copy for my wife to read (she doesn't like audiobooks lol)

*I'm a real person who writes real reviews on the books I get, if you don't believe me, check out my other reviews :) Thanks for reading

Jillian ROCKS!

I love Jillian from "The Biggest Loser", but was hesitant to buy this audiobook because I wasn't sure how her energy would translate to this format. Was I pleasantly surprised! She's an exceptional narrator; her intonation and inflection are flawless - I've worked as a professional voice talent for 20+ years and am a critical listener - and her passion is genuine. A certain A+, I'm enjoying her work immeasurably. Thanks Jillian!

The voice makes it all worth it

Jillian's approach is clear. In the end, you have to discover yourself and she surely shows you how. I listen to this book on my way home, to work, at work and sometimes when I can at home. It is certainly made an impact on how I am looking at my glass of half empty or full. Plus hearing her voice has a way of making you believe that you can be...unlimited.

Her Success or Yours?

It seems like this is just another self help the author book, meaning they are using the name to make more money or fame what ever. She tells you go to to her web site, okay fine, I did and to see some things she wants $4 a week. That adds up and after buying this book, why not have a spot just for the book readers? I am not interested in her advice on diet and health, I have that down already, but I agree with her view that it is all connnected.

So far not a bad book but nothing new here. A bit of Robbins, a dash of Larry Winget and a lot of Jillian is what you get. She let you decide how to use her advice and she makes some good points. I guess after working/ reading what ever you want to call it a lot of these types of books there isn't anything new out there.

This is a wonderful compilation of state of the art self improvement material . Very comprehensive and delivered with a passionate resonance from a truly dynamic personality in Jillian Michaels. Without a doubt, if the ideas Jillian delivers in this book are taken to heart and applied by the reader, a profound transformation will occur. Much prettier than Tony Robbins and packing every bit the punch, I admire her straight forward, often brash delivery. If you want something to jump start your butt, wake you up and get your life going, listen to this audio book......

SO INSPIRATIONAL! I've been telling all my friends about this book. I just finished listening to it once and plan on going back and starting over from the beginning. She goes through each step so clearly and concisely. I can't say enough good things about this book.

Very potent!

This was a very direct and concise self-actualization audiobook. She gives lots of great information in every chapter. It was quite incredible. The only negative thing I have to say about it, is that she does blame every 'unfortunate' situation on the person involved in it. Example: Pet insurance is not something most people purchase - as it rarely pays out AND people can get tooth problems and need root canals even if they brush their teeth properly. Not every negative event is brought on by the person themselves.

Good but not as good as Anthony Robbins

I have listened to a lot of these audiobooks so I've already heard most of what's on this. If you're new to this then you'll get more out of it than me and it does cover a lot of areas which will help you grow, and like every book I listen to on this subject I did pick up one or two things which I'll use I did like the author although my mind did keep wandering whilst listening, whether this is because of familiarity of the subject or it wasn't that gripping I can't honestly say.

All of these self development books, which I've listened to, which is quite a lot over the years, are pretty much the same as each other. For me the best is Anthony Robbins by far for self development and Zig Ziglar for sales.

You may think that 3 stars is low but I feel people give out 5 stars too readily, for me 5 stars has got to be mindblowing and / or life changing, 4 stars excellent and 3 stars average to good, which I feel this book is

Surprisingly good.

I hadn't heard of Jillian Michaels before this book. She has a great voice and attitude for motivation. Not too American in the examples that she gives, so its easy for someone from the UK to understand and relate to.

She makes some very interesting quotations, thought provoking and to the point.

Yes, I would recommend this book if you're looking for encouragement, strength, or some direction.

Stop shouting at us, we are not idiots.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

The content was ok, there are better self development books out there though. Jillian needs to stop shouting everything... it was really annoying. some readers are already open minded.

Would you be willing to try another one of Jillian Michaels’s performances?

What character would you cut from Unlimited?

The shouting

bit of blah blah

Yes I get it, but its far from inspiring, same tone and drive throughout of very well trodden motivational slants. Nothing wrong with it but didn't feel personal or captivating. Once I stopped listening her voice went too, needed more
