Publisher's Summary

This book can work miracles in your life.

I have seen miracles happen to men and women in all walks of life all over the world. Miracles will happen to you, too - when you begin using the magic power of your subconscious mind. This book is designed to teach you that your habitual thinking and imagery mold, fashion, and create your destiny; for as a man thinketh in his subconscious mind, so is he.

Power of Your Faith

The book should have been titled "The Power of Your Faith." Most of it is about visualization and positive affirmation or prayer each night until what you desire happens. Some of it is about replacing negative thoughts and developing an expertise in your field of interest to increase your confidence - actually taking actions rather than wishing for success or good things to happen.

The DRY Narrator!!!

The material is perfect but it's a nearly impossible listen because the narrator sounds like Hannibal Lector. Then he tends to let his voice trail into whispers & all narrators do that for effect. It's only an irritant when the voice is already bone dry. About 2.5 hours into the book, he's speaking about entering sleepy states. Hard to imagine it working when his voice sounds like he's asleep. I'm going to submit for refund so I can rebuy itt with a different narrator.

Powerfull and simple to apply

Techniques in this book are very simple to apply yet it is extremely powerfull..A reader should find many of Tony Robins teachings. Let your subconcious mind off the leash.

Excellent book but poor narration

What did you like most about The Power of Your Subconscious Mind?

The subject matter is very important. I learnt much from listening to this book. It is not so much psychology as positive thinking and awareness. Very practical advice.

What did you like best about this story?

Not really a story as it is not fiction but it explains much.

What aspect of Clay Lomakayu’s performance might you have changed?

I felt he spoke too slowly. I found his intonation too much like a southern states preacher. The book is not actually like that but I got the mental impression of him delivering sermons in church.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I found the book enlightening though I was annoyed at times by the narration

Any additional comments?

Excellent book if you are into understanding how your life is a reflection of what is going on in your unconscious mind. Change what is there and your life will change too.

Ok book but bad narration

The book is good and does make sense but few things spoil it:
1. Religious talk
2. Some examples are just too much to take!
3. The narration is as if they are whispering, while travelling in tubes, I have to put it on full volume but still all I can hear is cracking sound.

A guide to the subconscious mind

A perfectly executed guide to the subconscious mind. No stone left unturned. Working examples provided including ones that have worked for others. This book explains why you do what you do and how you can change it. 100% a must re-read.

Enlightenment

I was introduced to this book in 2004, and remember the person raving about it. Then THE Secret came out and that changed my life, now almost 10 years later I eventually read this book and WOW wish I had done years ago. It is life changing, the thing I have noticed the most is my dreams reflect my emotional state when falling asleep. The masterpiece is learning to change your emotions and that is driven by your thoughts. I often listen to this book as I am falling asleep.

interesting concepts

I'll admit mj interest was sparked by a Michael Phelps reference to this book, so I decided to give it a go.

I found the concepts of sub conscious and control of self to be very interesting, but the author lost me when they brought religion and belief into the equation.

I do believe that you can manifest your own desires in your health, happiness and well-being. but to place 'faith' in your subconscious to deliver external variables is tenuous even without diluting the argument with references to God.

That said, there are elements that I appreciated and will attempt to utilise in my life.
