When intuition is in full bloom, life takes on a magical, effortless quality; your world is suddenly full of synchronicities, creative insights, and abundant knowledge. Through an easy-to-understand 10-step course, The Intuitive Way shows you how to enter that state of perceptual aliveness and integrate it into daily life to achieve greater natural flow. Author Penney Peirce synthesizes teachings from psychology, Eastern and Western philosophy, religion, metaphysics, and business. In simple and direct language, Peirce describes the intuitive process as a new way of life and demonstrates practical applications, from speeding up decision-making to expanding personal growth. Whether you're just beginning to search for a richer, fuller life experience or are looking for more subtle, sophisticated insights about your spiritual path, The Intuitive Way will be your companion as you progress through the stages of intuition development toward grasping your soul's purpose.

    "Good tips ruined by psychobabble."

I tried but I just couldn't finish this one. Every time I started listening I had high hopes but kept getting mad and shutting it off.

Don't get me wrong, there's some good stuff in there. I practice spirituality and psychic development. I'm a believer, no doubt about it. But I also study psychology, and that's where this book just makes me mad.

The author attempts to blend what I assume is Freudian psychoanalysis with concepts from Eastern mysticism but ends up butchering both.

Here's one example, where I finally gave up. She talks about the three levels of mind -- conscious, super-conscious, and subconscious. The super-conscious is basically like your spirit or higher self, all good and all-knowing. The conscious mind is pure awareness and will (neutral). But the subconscious is obsessed with survival, physicality, and reacts to situations from a basis of fear or anger. She even describes the different parts of the brain associated with these different levels.

Okay, if you're going to get into science, give me the science. Back up these claims with data and citations or just walk away. She does this kind of thing over and over. It not only detracts from the author's credibility, it just offends me.

Not all psychic authors are like this. Sonia Choquette is a good example. She stays in her realm of expertise and thus maintains her credibility. This book, on the other hand, just gives the field a bad name. Move on.

"Penney Pierce Is A Great Teacher"

Everything I have ever read or listened to by Penney has been excellent! I had a reading from her that was incredibly insightful and significant. She is a very gifted intuitive, and a very kind person.

"Sorry I wasted an Audible credit on this"

I was expecting a book a little more grounded in psychology. This was all fluffy new age babbling.
