I have several self hypnosis cds and this is by far the very worst. It was suppose to be helping with procrastinating but she never got around to it. I'm still wondering what in the devil she was talking about. Her voice was not in the least bit soothing.

I found this tape to be a very light pep talk with more emphasis on getting you to relax rather than focus.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
I'm sure Dr. Janet Hall may be good at her work in the field of hypnosis. However, I found that I was feeling quite inducted into her hypnosis until I kept hearing her shuffling pages that she may have been reading. It was quite distracting and at times very loud that pulled me out and I couldn't focus on the message. I was quite disappointed. This is probably more of an irritant to because I'm a music produce and sound is always on the forefront of my mind.
Would you be willing to try another book from Dr. Janet Hall? Why or why not?
No. Because I'm sure the same production is present.
How could the performance have been better?
My recommendation to authors who might be producing their own audible works from their home or office is to read a script from touch screen device. Turning pages and or shuffling is very annoying to the listener. Unless you are in a professional studio where the noise can be edited out, paperless readings are best suggested.
