The silence... a meeting place of souls. A place to find wisdom, knowledge, understandings. Accessible through meditation, art, bliss. It is the place you just were when you come back, not realizing you had been away. Knowings... what is known simply by knowing, not by learning.
Knowings from The Silence: Simple Wisdom for an Enlightened Life is but a small collection of knowings found in the silence. Attach your own understandings to them that you may share them with others so that they too may attach their understanding to them. In this way, the human race will grow and evolve. Each minute contains a simple concept to remind you of how to live an enlightened life.
Relax as you listen these. Allow one to flow into the next as you would a meditation.
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
For someone who is seeking inspiration and a bit of an uplift, with a religious/theological approach, this would be a very good listen. The narrator's beautiful voice and thoughtful pacing provide a calming experience which is almost a meditation in itself, and help the listener want to hear more.
