Do not purchase after 2017

The contents of this book are focused on scrum as it existed just after the 2013 update. It still references material that was removed in the scrum guide in 2013. There has now been a scrum update as of 2017. The material in this audio book is partially out of date and it is not clear what material is and is not still relevant by listening to the audio book alone. I would highly recommend not purchasing this title if you intend to use it as a study reference.

Passed my exam

I failed the first attempt at my exam with a 72% I used this book and did some additional practice on scrum open. It helped me pass with a 92.5%. It was really helpful at solidifying some of the concepts I was struggling to grasp.

Does not help much

What disappointed you about Scrum Master Certification?

It does not add any value if you have already read the Scrum Guide (and you have to read that to pass anyway). The author picks parts of it constantly and just describes it with his own words, without adding anything you wouldn't have already guessed.

Good supplemental study material

Covers what's in the Scrum guide with the goal of helping you pass the Scrum certification. I found this really useful after having read the Scrum Guide a couple of times, then listening to this book.
