Publisher's summary

The story picks up less than a year after the events of High Priest on Union Station, with Kelly coming to the conclusion that EarthCent needs an intelligence service. Of course, EarthCent has no institutional knowledge of what spies do or how they work, so the new agency gets off to a slow start. Then Kelly and the Union Station crew come up with a brilliant idea.

E. M. Foner and Hollie Jackson pair up once again!

really dig this series. the other books have been just as fun. I really enjoy this light-hearted comedy in space.

Keeps getting better.

Any additional comments?

My favorite one so far. Not to mention it is the funniest as well. I couldn't count how many times I burst out laughing.

This time we get to have fun with a new character in the form of a spy. A few past characters (Kelly included of course) get the next steps in their storylines. And we also get a glimpse into other worlds and other ambassadors.

Yep yep, this is a great book, I recommend it.

six books and counting ☺

So far I have read/listened to six books and I am on to my 7th.
At 1st I was unsure how it would progress but EACH BOOK had me more firmly enmeshed & enjoying myself. 5 stars for each & ALL !
A truly funny thing is that I know the town the author lives in - with me just down the road to THE DINO TRACKS ... or as my brother said "they look like normal Train Tracks to ME !!
... although I am convinced the author is male - I do wonder if he teaches at the rather exclusive woman's college there 📚

I want more.

I have come to look forward to each of these audiobooks as they come out. I eagerly await the next mess Earthcent dumps in Kelly's lap.

I feel like im part of the family!

These books continue to improve and expand. That goes for the cast of characters as well as the scope of the galaxy and the humans place in it. I really enjoy the way Foner writes the timeline in these books. Each book takes place a few years apart from the previous one so we have a continuous progression to the cast and events that are being dealt with at the time. Its very well done.
This book is about the humans trying to catch up with the other species in Stryx space by forming and intelligence agency in order to not be ignorant of the goings on in the galaxy and maybe influence things as well. In this we get a few new characters introduced to the union station family and they seem very promising. Excited to see where things go next.
I do think the "you know what" is a little steep for the amount of content included. What I've seen done alot with books that tend to be a little shorter than average is they'll combine 2 books into one 'publisherspack'. In this case wed get 10 hours of listening for one "you know what" instead of just 5 hours. No matter how good the story may be, 1 "you know what" for not even 5 hours of content is pretty absurd. I was lucky enough to catch these on mark⬇️ and im glad i did because their amazing books but i garentee the high "you know what" is limiting the audience....
Had to get creative with the review because "you know who" wouldnt let me post my review when critiquing the "you know what" 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
