disjointed storyline

Not my cup of tea. I found the storyline very disjointed and none of the characters were likeable. It felt like I didn't understand what was going on for at least the first third of the book due the story jumping back and forth. I struggled the finish this.

Somehow violent but touching

Some pretty gruesome, dark, disturbing moments, which usually aren’t my bag personally, but if you persevere through to the end you won’t regret it. I was crying at the surprise ending.

One of my new favorite stand alone novels.

This is a story that sticks with you... The narrator was perfect for the book.

Did not like this book at all. Glad I only purchased it at a reduced price. Will not bother to finish it.

Crazy good!

Crazy, good, and crazy good is really the best description of the book. If you like stories about modern faeries kidnapping children, it's definitely a book for you.

Weird, Weird, Weird... and amazing

I have been reading Science Fiction since the 1970"s and this is one of the strangest things I've ever read/listened to. That being said, I was completely drawn in and thoroughly entertained. Well worth the credit and the time to listen.

Very interesting story, execution could be better.

Interesting story but the plot starts to wrap up and I realized there’s still 5 hours left! We have a couple hours of non action and then backstory to fill in the gaps. The premise was good but I wish it could have been told in a more succinct way.
The narrator was great though!

Wonderfully strange

Completely unpredictable! Unlike anything I've ever read. Can't wait to read it again to see all the things I missed.

bizarre in the best way

I had no idea what to expect coming into this book. It turned out to be such a fun ride. it's bizarre without being convoluted. great narrator too. just awesome
