This doesn’t make me popular with the rest of the magical community — as you can tell from the numerous break-ins and assassination attempts I’ve endured over the years. But thanks to my half-elven blood, a powerful sword named Chopper, and a telepathic tiger with an attitude, I’ve always been able to handle my problems with aplomb. Maybe some cursing and swearing, too, but definitely aplomb.

GLAD I FOUND THIS SET OF BOOKS!
I really enjoyed the Emperor’s Edge series by Lindsay Buroker but was unable to find this grouping of books on audible. I was thrilled to find out, albeit later, that it was available as a three book series. I love this series and have listened (audiobook) to it a few times. Highly recommend!

This book set is awesome!
So i am a fan of Lindsey Buroker. I had previously listened to Emperor's Edge Collection And this set definitely filled in some gaps and of course great story super fun and exciting! Tavia Gilbert does a fantastic narration performance. I will definitely re-listen to this book set

Some breaks in logic, but an enjoyable listen
Any additional comments?
First, the bad, there are some breaks in logic. They are not glaring, but they do sadly go down the path of....well, she is just an emotional women, it can be excused....so, I felt it necessary to comment on that. It doesn't take away from the story(s), but they do drop the intelligence level. Also, the main topics of each book vary widely. So, if you are anticipating a connected story from beginning to end...well, all you really get are the same characters. The characters are slightly 1 dimensional, but nothing too horrible. For these points, I subtracted stars.
Now, the good, its an enjoyable listen. The story flows, its interesting, and topics are generally cool to think about.
Conclusion, its worth a credit, but don't expect something brilliant.

great story!!!
this book was a great listen, full of adventure. I truly enjoyed the narrator as well. wasn't sure about it but was very impressed with how witty and fun the characters were and the story kept me listening even after i should have been in bed. well worth the money spent! I have already gotten another book by the same author can't wait to listen!!!
