Incredible and Engaging Stories and Voice Talent

Loved it. Thought Catherine Tate and David Tennant were brilliant. The stories are great. If you are a fan of the Doctor Who series, you will not be disappointed. I thought the 11th Doctor audiobooks couldn't be matched. I was wrong. This was a great purchase that entertained me throughout. It should entertain you as well.

So so

David Tennant did great job; Catherine Tate's reading made me seriously question how on earth she landed the job for series.... And she narrates quite few painful chapters... So so bad. And she's my favorite companion! 😳

excellent compilation of doctor stories. Captures the classic humor and character interactions. Surprisingly fabulous reading by Catherine Tate. David Tennant was up to his usual superb an worth checking out his other works. Michelle Ryan the surprising performance should be checked into to see how much other reason she has done an overall rating of five stars

Enjoyable Doctor Who Stories

Any additional comments?

I personally really enjoyed these stories. It was fun listening to the 10th Doctor and Donna again. I also enjoyed the stories of the Doctor that did not include a companion. Worth the credit to me.

David Tennant is wonderful narrator

The stories are original but very much in line with the series. Narrators are excellent. A relaxing, fun way to enjoy more Doctor Who.

Some repeats here

What made the experience of listening to Doctor Who: 10th Doctor Tales the most enjoyable?

Hearing David Tennant's voice again

Who was your favorite character and why?

The Doctor, of course.

What does the narrators bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

Authentic voices

Any additional comments?

You should be aware that at least two of the stories have appeared before as single audiobooks. One star withheld for not making that clear!

This is the series that never got filmed

Would you listen to Doctor Who: 10th Doctor Tales again? Why?

These stories are quintessentially David Tennants Doctor, and, when Donna is involved, they are awesome. The dialogue is tight and the action fast paced.

What about the narrators’s performance did you like?

Overall great narration. Catherine Tate is amazing. David Tennant...David Tennant is simply awesome. There are times when he is narrating fast paced multi-character action and dialogue not only in three distinct voices, but three different accents. He switches character and accent seamlessly, without missing a beat. you have to remind yourself he is playing all the characters.

Any additional comments?

Why is River never in these?

A collection of varied but brilliant Dr Who stories

Really enjoyed these stories. Having the original people who were in the televised productions made it even better. David Tennant and Catherine Tate were great, but Catherine’s skills with voices were brilliant. Michelle Ryan’s reading was clear and well read but I didn’t recognise her voice. Not that it mattered. These stories would have been difficult to televise, especially as the dark or pitch black was prevalent. I heartily recommend listening to it all and I will listen again many times I am sure.

The 10th Doctor

I quiet enjoyed all the books. Though unlike others I really didn't like Michellle Ryan's reading. I thought David did a fantastic job, just like his whacky self on the shows. Catherine I also thought did ok. I think her version of reading was just as her character as well.
I think my Favourite story was The Last Voyage. Quiet a tangled story with the usual Whovian twists
