My Favorite in the whole series!
What made the experience of listening to Dead to the World the most enjoyable?
Johanna Parker is just fantastic! She brings each character to life and is an incredible voice actress. The storyline was exciting and fun, with great romance.

Really enjoyed this installment of the story! While, I loved the TV series-the books are even better. They better illustrate the relationships, that Sookie has.

Supernatural bombardment
You never know how you will react when friends and loved ones are endangered. Our heroine faces both with some hilarity and some melancholy. Her plans continue to go astray. Though she can't remember where grandma took that phrase from. Amnesia runs rampant. Witches and weres abound. A culmative battle ensues. In the end there is a bit of thought as to just how much has been forgotten. This was the book I stayed up nights listening to. Enjoy

Good narration
As a southerner, it's easy to want to nitpick the accents, but there are varying degrees of southern accents. Overall, I enjoy these narrations, and I love these books.

Fantastic!!!
Finally book 4 of the series comes out in audio, and it does not disappoint! This is a crucial book in the series, and although I have already read it, it was wonderful to listen to Johanna Parker's performance of it. Listen to the series in order, but do not miss this one!

One of my favorites so far.
Where does Dead to the World rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I really liked the storyline with the witches and Eric and Sookies relationship. It is one of the best books so far.
Who was your favorite character and why?
In this book, I like to hear about the "nice" Erik. It is a nice change.
Which character – as performed by Johanna Parker – was your favorite?
Sookie, hands down, but she has a great range for her characters. She always does a great job.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
It made me laugh in some parts, but not cry. The only thing I didn't care for was the Ware-panther storyline. I could have lived without that. Not my favorite in the book or the tv show.
