Publisher's Summary

Michael has moved on; can his Justice Enforcer make a difference?

Does the Sun come up in the morning?

The New York City-State wakes up and their world has been shaken to its core. The Enforcers have been scattered, but they aren't finished. This vampire is but a bump in their road to keeping the city-state in the hands of the CEOs.

The Weres are involved. Some leave, some stay, and new alliances are made and an old one broken.

However, in the end, it always comes back to heart and determination.

Something that you often have to find for yourself, when life beats you down and Valerie is made of the right material to see it through.

As noted in other series set in the Kurtherian Universe, there is cursing in this book, occasionally, it's funny, too.

Truly Exciting!

I thought this story was wonderful. It is exciting and action packed.
The narrator, Ms. Rudd, has a fantastic voice. She really brought
the story to life. I definitely recommend it to everyone.

Exciting vampire and werewolf adventure

Claimed by Honor is the exciting sequel to Justice is Calling. This book continues the story of a tough female vampire fighting evil with other vampires, werewolves, and humans at her side. The narrator does a terrific job bringing the story to life. Contains language and graphic violence.

I received this book as a gift. This is my honest and voluntary review.

Honor and Justice Delivered!

Wow, this series gets better and better. At first I felt I wouldn't like this book because I'm more into other genres. But turns out, I loved it. It's packed full of action. And omg there were so many funny parts. Diego is my favorite character. I really liked Felix also. A were-horse?! Now I've heard everything. The guys should've saved that one for a PNR or erotica lol. I would buy it. We see more of this crazy messed up world Sandra and Valerie are trying to survive in. It's always interesting to see who they will meet next.

This narrator is wonderful! She can do so many different voices for man or woman and you would swear it was them.

Great book and great narrator

This is another great entry in the Reclaiming Honor series. It has vampires and Weres in a kind of a post-apocalyptic world, what is not to love? The story picks up right after the first book ended but things are explained well enough that it could be a stand alone book. One gripe I did have with it is a few of the lines about honor and justice. Some of the lines were action movie cheesy didn't fit really well in my opinion. They weren't numerous to ruin an otherwise great book though. Overall I thought the book was great and I can't wait to get at the next one.

The narration was absolutely wonderful. I have listened to audio books read by Kate Rudd before and as always she does a wonderful job. The voices she uses for the characters feel very natural and I never once confused one with another.

loving this spin off

Would you consider the audio edition of Claimed by Honor to be better than the print version?

I don't know about it being better, I have always loved being read to, so yes in that sense it was awesome.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked learning a bit more about Cami. I also liked that Val met not only Michael at the end of the last book but she met Akio and Yuko in this one.

What about Kate Rudd’s performance did you like?

She has a nice range for doing different characters.

Great Series and Narration.

This is a really fun series. So much action and butt kicking by Valerie, I love a strong female lead. I am looking forward to the next book and I hope it shows up on audible soon.

This is a bit different from what I normally listen to but I am enjoying it. I did like the first book better but this was excellent too.

You get vampires, weres great fighting and some really funny sarcasm. There is so much dialogue throughout the entire book, its fantastic.

As for the narration it was superb. Kate Rudd does a fantastic job with the men's voices and gives everyone a distinct voice. Her reading voice is great and she reads with emotion. Valerie's voice is awesome!

Can't wait for book 3 Judgement has Fallen to come out on audible.

I have gone back and started the series that came before this, Death Becomes Her. And I do hope they put all of that series on audible, right not there are only the first 2 available.

Wonderful read and listen..

I absolutely love Valerie. No one can kick-butt the way she does, and then crack a joke. Both books I’ve read in this series were so funny and exciting, they were a real joy to read. And just like the first one the battles in this book were awesome. This is written by men, and men can’t write sex worth a crap, but they can sure write battles. Valerie’s speed and heads rolling, one right after another, was simply incredible.

This had a lot of the same characters in it but Sandra, Diego and Cammie are still my favorites, with Jackson coming in fourth. Looks like Valerie has met herself a romantic interest. That’s so great.

I had no idea I would have enjoyed a steampunk book so much but I’m sure glad I tried it.

Like I said “no sex” but the F-bomb was used 52 times. Unlike a lot of folks I don’t mind that word at all but if you do then don’t buy this book, then complain there bad language.

As to the narrator: I could listen to Kate Rudd narrate every book I buy. Her voices and feelings and emotions are just phenomenal.

Valerie kicks ass and takes names

This is book 2 in Valerie’s fight to save the citizens of Old Manhattan. She is committed to killing Commander Strake for the sins he perpetrated against the vampires and werewolves. In keeping the down low on the super natural world, many of the citizens do not know that the fight and flight of the enforcers was to liberate them from the oppression of Starke. Knowing only that the enforcers left the city, there is dissension among the residents. Now she must engage the “bosses” in the city to control the unrest on the inside, while Valerie takes care of the attack from the outside.

The fights are still great, and Valerie is still kicking ass. She gets her fan girl moment, when the legendary Yuko and Akio show up in town looking for Michael. Before Yuko and Akio continue their journey, they hang out with Valerie to see how she handles herself.

Sandra and Diego are getting on with their romantic relationship. Now we have a romantic interest for Valerie, yeaaa.
Still to come is the fight with the CEOs

If you enjoyed the first book, this one does not disappoint.
