This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
People that enjoy prequels.
What could Dean Wesley Smith have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Mr Smith delivered a fine enough story for what was in the Novela. The problem for me was the book seemed like the first two chapters of a larger Novel.
What about Flora Plumb’s performance did you like?
Competent enough. Good character voices.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Disappointment. I didn't pay much attention to the Novels length when I bought it, perhaps if I did my reaction when the Novel finished may not have been-"Wait..what...is that it?"
Any additional comments?
Caveat emptor. If you like questions raised in a novel answered in the same novel this book is not for you. As is all things your mileage may vary.
