Publisher's summary

Submerge yourself in the final enthralling installment of New York Times best-selling author Kristen Proby’s The Curse of the Blood Moon series.

Torn apart by tragedy, Lorelei has kept Xander at arm’s length, focusing on her career and gifts rather than rekindling their love. But now that she’s back in Salem, she can’t avoid him and finds herself slowly softening toward the man she’s loved all of her life. However, the witch hunter they’ve been fighting still hasn’t been vanquished. Between that and breaking the curse of the Blood Moon, now is not the best time for her to give the sexy Xander another try.

Despite Lora pushing him away, Xander has never stopped loving her. But now that the stakes are higher with evil threatening them more than ever, he is done giving her time and space. With the curse that Jonas put into place long ago creating havoc with the innocent residents of Salem, the core six, their coven, and the witches from Hallows End need to work together to overcome true wickedness.

Will Xander and Lora find themselves once again amid these stormy seas and their recent separation? Or will evil reign, throwing the core six, Salem, and Hallows End into unimaginable peril?

Amazing Conclusion to the Series

An Amazing Conclusion to this series! This book was almost hard for me to read, because I didn't want it to end. I love Xander and Lorelei so much and have been pining for their story since Hallows End (book 1). The tension between of these two has been smoldering! Kristen Proby is so good at introducing characters you know are fated or meant to be and teasing the reader across books focused on other characters until you are panting and begging for their book, and that is exactly what she did with Salems Song. This book was emotional, and tense, romantic and spicy. The mystery and paranormal storyline was a little spooky and angsty. I loved getting more history of Xander and Lorelei's past and seeing them reconnect. My only complaint about this story is that it's over.

Narrated by Sebastian York and Samantha Brentmoor. Honestly, that's all I need to say. Can you go wrong with these two narrators? (that was a rhetorical question because no, you can not). Samantha gives off great witchy vibes and Sebyo is brings it as a broody love sick MMC.

I received an ALC of this book and voluntarily give my honest review.

Great ending!

I like to read stories about witches, ghosts, hauntings around Halloween time. I was thrilled that this trilogy was all ready for me to devour! I couldn't listen fast enough and listened to all 3 books so I could see how it ends. Great story telling that had me holding on to the very end.

Salems Song we finally have the ending we have been waiting for. Lorelei and Xander were together in the past when something happened and Lorelei ran. Now they have a second chance at love if they can figure out how to destroy the evil that is threatening to destroy them. I loved watching these two find their way back to each other.

This was the culmination of all 3 stories and how they defeat the threat to them. I loved it and was at the edge of my seat the whole way.

Great story loved it!

The narrators did a great job throughout the series.

A Solid Ending

Salem's Song was a quick ending to a paranormal/soulmates series. Each books are standalones romances but with an overarching plot. This book focuses on Lorelei and Xander. While I enjoyed the story, it went too quickly. The romance is solid, the plot is solid, but I wanted more out at the series.

Ahhhmazing ending to a wonderfully witchy series!

The final book in The Curse of the Blood Moon is finally here and it's ahhhhmazing! I'm so happy we got Xander & Lorelei's backstory and finally got a resolution to what's been happening in Hallow's End. This was a wonderful series that kept me hooked from the first word to the last. ❤️

Loved this series!!!

I love a second chance romance trope. They are my absolute favorite. I have been picturing how Xander and Lorelei’s would unfold from the moment we met them. I love that we the readers are kept in the dark waiting to find what ripped them apart years ago when they are very obviously soulmates. My heart hurt for both of them. All of these intense feelings fighting to come to the surface while the six of them are racing to break the curse of Hallows End. It made for one explosive ride.
Xander wants nothing more than Lorelei to be safe and protected, even if that means she continues to hate him. Lorelei has finally come home. She’s trying to move on from a hurt caused years ago and find a way to help her cousins and the people of Hallows End all while facing Xander and the hurt she's been running from all of these years. Lorelei and Xander must find a way back to each other if they are going to be successful in breaking the curse.
This series was so special because in the middle of all the suspenseful, exciting, and spine-tingling paranormal goodness. There is an element of real emotions the characters bring. That is just a Kristen Proby specialty. Her characters can always leap of the page and right into your head. You can care about them as if you know them. You experience everything with these six people just like you were there. Salem's Song was a thrilling conclusion to the Curse of the Blood Moon series

Great End To The Series

Salems Song, the third book in The Curse of the Blood Moon trilogy by Kristen Proby does not disappoint. It picks up right at the end of book two and brings along all the spooky witchy goodness. This is Lorelei and Xander’s story and they will need to overcome past hurts to move forward and end the curse that is holding Hallow’s End hostage and defeat the evil that wants to take someone from Xander’s coven to steal their power.

The story is fast paced, full of heat and brings all the spooky vibes that have been woven throughout this series. It is the perfect read for this time of year and really kicks off the Samhain season when the veil is most thin and all things are possible.

One of things I love best about Kristen Proby’s writing is the relationships she builds between her female characters, they are always strong and independent while lifting one another up and still being able to lean on each other when needed. This is especially true within this series as the women know that they are all stronger together. There is a great line in this book that really sums up these female friendships that says, “We are the daughters of daughters.” Now, I don’t know if that’s witchcraft or not, but it’s definitely magic.

Stellar narration from Sebastian York & Samantha Brentmoore

Beautiful and sexy 2nd chance!

Kristen Proby’s third and final installment of The Curse of the Blood Moon series, Salem’s Song. Throughout this series Lorelei and her 2 cousins along with their significant others have been trying to break the curse and eliminate the evil being terrorizing their Coven. I absolutely loved Salem’s Song just as much as I have loved all other Kristen Proby books. Salem’s Song features soul mates, family-saga, unconditional love, paranormal, and so much love for each and every character. Xander is a very powerful watch who is the Coven leader who worries for his coven that he is not enough to protect them from the evil that threatens them. Xander is not only a witch but a shifter as well who uses his abilities to protect Lorelei but all within the coven. Xander is ruggedly handsome, solid like a brick wall, and loves with a tender heart and touch. Lorelei is a powerful sea witch who loves the sea and draws her strength from the sea. She is very close to her family but has kept secrets for years now. Will Xander be able to convince Lorelei that their love is real and meant to be forever? Sebastian York and Samantha Brentmoor bring Xander and Lorelei to life for your listening pleasure. And boy do they bring aural pleasure to your ears! Sebastian York has one of the smoothest male voices that I have ever heard. I thoroughly enjoy listening to his smooth rich and sexy voice. Samantha Brentmoor is fairly new to me but I have enjoyed listening to her. She does a great job bringing her characters to life. I love how Kristin Proby writes with so much love for her characters which makes for pure reading enjoyment and some very sexy between-the-sheets scenes. I highly recommend any reader who enjoys family-sagas, paranormal, and characters who have unconditional love for each other to read not only Salem’s Song, but the other 2 books in the Curse of the Blood Moon series. Enjoy!!

What a great way to end this story!

I loved this series. It couldn’t have ended better. I wish the fight had been a little more anxiety producing but everything else was amazing. Will definitely re-read these books whenever I need a little magic!
