Publisher's summary

A princess on the run finds her version of a prince in this epic beginning to the Tattered Royals stand-alone series.

I never asked for my tiara.

My dreams were always bigger than a palace. They're as big as the world.

Being fourth in line for the throne should have guaranteed me freedom.
I thought I was one step from walking away forever, but a long-forgotten rule forces me to run instead.

I refuse to marry a Duke and bear an heir to save our titles.

I trust my brothers to find a way to save my future, but first, I need to save myself.

Only, I never expected to meet danger...and Kannon Adams along the way.

I never asked for her.

My security business has secured all the clueless princess types I can handle. Princess London Waterford of Alden is a whole other level of trouble.

Not to mention gorgeous and tempting as royal sin. Too bad she’s also in danger. When the bullets fly, I trust no one else to protect her, even if she pushes me away.

Together, we must find who's behind the threat to her life and try not to get caught in the crossfire.

One night together might never be enough, but if those who want her dead have a say, it’ll be our last.

Different Worlds

This was the first royal book I've listened to, and I really enjoyed the story. There was action, suspense, drama, and of course, romance. However, though I enjoyed the story, I struggled with the narration as Lacy's attempt to sound royal missed its mark. Graham was new to me, and I really enjoyed his narration.

Nothing original to see here

The storyline was okay. The characters definitely needed to be developed more. The heroine was very annoying. I did not like how naive she was being. The hero was okay but he was all over the place with his feeling to that matter so was the heroine.. it was wash, rinse and repeat.
Now let’s talk about the female narrator.. she was absolutely horrible.. she tried to pull off a British accent but failed miserably. I don’t know what that was.. accents are definitely not for her. Not to mention her male voice sucked.
I just couldn’t figure out some of the words she was speaking. she was trying to sound aristocratic but just came off like she was mispronouncing the words.
The narrator for the hero was okay but not much to say there.. no one could save this MESS!

Needless to say I would not use a credit for this nonsense. And I will not be getting the second book in the series because it can only get worse.

Buy at your own peril.

Captivating

They both had duties that needed to be fulfilled. Past that kept them leaving a wall around them. Betrayal. Hope. Chemistry. Once you sit down with this gem you won’t want to put it down! This is a great start to the Tattered Royals series. I really enjoyed the collaboration between Carrie Ann Ryan and Nana Malone. The Princess, London, needs protection. The Bodyguard, Kannon. Kannon was the perfect growly hero, they tried staying away from each other but the pull was too strong. Royal Line is an exciting read that I definitely recommend.

Meh....

I have read a lot of books by Carrie Ann Ryan and loved all of them but this just did not do anything for me. Maybe it was the female narrator., I struggled with her in this book! The heroine just came off as bitchy to me through out the book and I just didn’t feel the chemistry between the 2 main characters.

Royally Torn

I am really torn writing this review. I both read the book and listened to it. I enjoyed reading it more.

I enjoyed the story of Kannon and London together. I enjoyed how they met, how they proceed, and all the ups and downs of their relationship. I enjoyed the side characters including those who work with Kannon and London's brothers, and I look forward to the next in the series.

What I really didn't like was the narration. I thought the female voice was too mature sounding for the words she was reading and the accent she chose was difficult to listen to. The male voice was ok.

All-in-all, I think this one was much more enjoyable as a read, not as a listen.

Loved it!

I don't usually like romances with royalty BUT I loved this one. London and Kannon made me fall in love with this book. They were such well written characters who I became really invested in. I also loved the secondary characters in this book. I could see each one getting their own story..
I also loved the accents used in this story. They were well done and totally fit the characters. That can make or break and audiobook in my opinion. I will be listening to this one again.

Steamy and suspensful, I loved this story!

I recently had the opportunity to listen to Royal Line by Carrie Ann Ryan and Nana Malone and I loved it. This is the first book in their new series of royals, Tattered Royals and I am all here for it. Narrated by Lacy Laurel and Graham Halstead, this was an enemies to lovers story that will captivate you right from the start. An old and very outdated law has come to light stating London must marry and provide an heir. Not ready to give up on her life yet and with the protection of her brothers, they set out to find a way around this. Then London finds trouble, literally, and not just in the form of one handsome, protective Kannon. Steamy, suspenseful, and witty, I loved listening to this story and am very excited to see what is coming next in the series!

Happy reading!

amazing story

Omg Carrie Ann Ryan anf Nana Malone sure know how to team up and write an amazing story. You are sucked in and spit it none the wiser on the fact it is a duo written story. The characters and plot build is simply amazing and keeps you turning the page. I absolutely enjoyed this and recommend you go forth and read this.

The narration to this is so awesome to listen to. I really enjoy this. Go forth and listen or read.

A new series & Royals...gotta love it!!

This was filled with excitement and danger, with a Princess on the run while bad guys chased after her, and the head of a security company coming to her rescue. Not to mention a lot of chemistry between the two. When they’re not fighting each other (and how they’re feeling), they’re trying to figure out who’s out to get Princess London. And Kannon won’t give up until him & his team figures it out. And wait until you see that bit of a twist. It’ll definitely spin your head. And Graham Halsted & Lacy Laurel did a great job narrating. Can’t wait for the next one!
