Hotness

London and Sutton are Hotness!! Lorelei James books are pure raw hotness and I love Scarlet Chase as narrator 💕💕

Short and sweet cowboy romance featuring bulldog her Sutton Grant

Some sexy scenes but mostly a short romance with a little drama about Sutton’s career change and his dealings with a sharp tongued, sassy horse trainer. Only one earlier couple from the series puts in an appearance which is a bit disappointing but it makes this a complete stand alone story. Few additional characters so the dialog doesn’t badly tax the range of narrator Scarlet Chase but the performance would have been better with a male narrator adding to her performance.

Good but tamer than the others.

Kept hinting at Sutton’s darker side in the bedroom, would have liked to see a longer story showing what he was like. He was such an interesting guy I wanted to see more.

Awe! I love when the woman is the aggressor. London sees Sutton again after a few years and the chemistry blew up!

Oh Sutton played coy for a little while but he couldn’t resist the sexy woman for long.

I liked how there was some drama because this story just kind of needed it.

I really liked the narration. :)

I Picked Up This Book Because: Needed a short book for #24B4Monday Readathon

The Story:

Sutton Grant has decided to retire after an accident that almost left him paralized. The problem is he hasn’t told anyone else yet. He recruits London to get his horse back into shape to be sold. London request Sutton to pretend to be her beau so she can make her ex jealous. They discover they have real chemistry, no pretending needed.

Sutton and London askew a good couple. I enjoyed listening to their story. The amount of cursing in this book surprised/bothered me. Not sure why guess I’m getting old.
