Publisher's summary

Before his trade became his name, "Tracker" Ochoa was a scrawny Mestizo runaway. Now as fearsome as he once was frightened, he's joined the notorious Hell's Eight, and they have a job for him: he must rescue kidnapped heiress Ari Blake and deliver her safely to the Hell's Eight compound by any means necessary. Turns out that includes marrying her, if he means to escort her and her infant daughter across the Texas Territory.

Tracker hadn't bargained on a wife - especially such a fair, blue-eyed beauty. But the erotic pleasures of the marriage bed more than make up for the surprise.

Tracker's well-muscled bronze skin and dark, dangerous eyes are far more exciting than any of Ari's former debutante dreams. In the light of day, though, his deep scars and brooding intensity terrify her. But he's her husband and she's at his mercy. With the frontier against them and mercenary bandits at their heels, Ari fears she'll never feel safe again.

Tracker, too, remembers what fear feels like. Though he burns to protect Ari, to keep her for himself always, he knows that money, history - and especially the truth - can tear them apart.

Much Better than the Last Book

I liked this book much better than the last book which almost put me off this series all together. I loved that the female lead is broken and flawed with issues but still manages to be strong and although she puts them in danger with her panic attacks, she isn't the too stupid to live type. Tracker's fatal flaw is his belief that he isn't good enough for her yet never questions her past or the horror she's survived, he only supports her (mostly until his dumbass decisions at the end).

I loved Trackers story!

Overall, I have enjoyed this series, so far. However, the basic storyline has been repeated in every book, and it’s getting a bit boring. I’ll have to take a break and come back to finish this series later. I will eventually finish the series. I want to experience each of the eight’s fall from bachelorhood.

I Want More Sarah McCarty on Audible

This was a great book. I've listened to all 4 Hell's Eight books and loved every one of them. Hope Audible gets more Sarah McCarty books. The Promises series would be a good start. Can't wait for Shadow's Stand to come out.

Narrator is awful

Would you try another book from Sarah McCarty and/or Isabelle Gordon?

Yes

What was one of the most memorable moments of Tracker's Sin?

Didn't finish because of nararator.

How could the performance have been better?

The narrator was horrible. The cadence and inflection of her voice was EXACTLY the same for EVERY sentence...almost a question.....so bad I could not listen to more than the first chapter..I was very dissapointed by it because I love the Hells Eight series and wanted to know what happened to Tracker..I guess I will have to spend more money to but the book and read it myself.

Was Tracker's Sin worth the listening time?

No but only because of the narrator.

Any additional comments?

Can I get my money back or a credit?

A must have

So impressed with this story it could easily be the best of the series. Ari's character was worth the wait and Tracker was indeed the man worth waiting for. Good sexy relationship both characters are deserving of each other. They are mature with their feelings and actions this is more of a love story then the rest of the series. But the steam and heat is definitely there. Isabelle did a great job with narration. Wish it was longer but loved it either way. Did want to correct a note, the intro summary says Ari has a daughter, she doesn't she has a son, and he's gonna grow up HELL'S EIGHT!

Good Narration

The story was equal to the previous Hell's 8 books but the narration was by far better than the previous books. I think Isabelle Gordon did a fantastic job with this book.

Good story but needed more development

Agree with other reviewers that while this story was good, it needed more story development. At this point in the series, it would have been good to extend the story once they returned to Hell's 8. Tracker and Ari's relationship needed more time as did Ari and Desi. Plus the whole storyline around killing the bad guy was short changed.

The whole series of Hell's Eight was great!

Would you consider the audio edition of Tracker's Sin to be better than the print version?

I am sorry, I've never read the printed version to compare.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Tracker's Sin?

Tracker getting his women at the end of course.

What about Isabelle Gordon’s performance did you like?

The book kept you captivated.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Arie and her sister were in a meadows of daisies, and they finally talked about the day they were seperated. Arie felt she was abandoned by her sister, only to find out that she was never forgotten by her sister and her sister was looking for her all that time.

Decent story...

Nothing exceptional, but enjoyable. I didn't mind the narrator the way others seemed to. She had a lazy way of speaking that I think was supposed to be sensual. I was ok with it.

You'll have to like erotica if you want to like this author - which I do, for the most part. But be warned, she's a little too kinky at times. The language is overly crude (she loves the "P" word way too much) and repetitive. The last scene was offensive and turned what should have been a glorious conclusion into something downright disturbing. I mean, what would you do if on your wedding night your new husband told you your VJ just wasn't enough for him and anal sex turned into the ultimate expression of love? UGG. Experimenting at some point, may-be, but that was just SO wrong.
